Even two years later, Gulnaz remembers the smell and state of her rapist’s clothes when he came into the house when her mother left for a brief visit to the hospital.
CNN (H/T to all who sent this) “He had filthy clothes on as he does metal and construction work. When my mother went out, he came into my house and he closed doors and windows. I started screaming, but he shut me up by putting his hands on my mouth,” she said. The rapist was her cousin’s husband.
After the attack, she hid what happened as long as she could. But soon she began showing signs of pregnancy. It was her attacker’s child. In Afghanistan, this brought her not sympathy, but prosecution. Aged just 19, she was found guilty by the courts of sex outside of marriage — adultery — and sentenced to twelve years in jail. Now inside Kabul’s Badam Bagh jail, she and her child are serving her sentence together.
The only way around the dishonor of rape, or adultery in the eyes of Afghans, is to marry her attacker. This will, in the eyes of some, give her child a family and restore her honor. Incredibly, this is something that Gulnaz is willing to do. (Not so) Shockingly, Gulnaz’s case is common in Afghanistan.

Islam for Today (H/T Colleen D) In a landmark event for Illinois’ more than 400,000 Muslim, the Illinois senate has passed the Halal Food Act on August 16, 2001 to safeguard the interests of the Muslim consumer.
The Act makes it a Class B misdemeanor for any person to make any oral or written statement that directly or indirectly tends to deceive or otherwise lead a reasonable individual to believe that a non-halal food or food product is Halal. (But the USDA does not require Halal Food to carry the Halal Label in the rest of the U.S.) The Act also makes it unlawaful for any business ,which advertises itself as selling only Halal foods or food products only, to carry any non-Halal products.
It also specifically defines the term “Halal” as food “prepared under and maintained in strict compliance with the laws and customs of the Islamic religion including but not limited to those laws and customs of zabiha/zabeeha (slaughtered according to appropriate Islamic code), and as expressed by reliable recognized Islamic entities and scholars.”
Additionally
, the Act also contains provisons to regulate Halal farms. Any dealer who grows animals and claims that they have been grown in a Halal way is obligated to prove the authenticity of his claim in accordance with the rules adopted by the Director of Agriculture. The dealer is also required to place a sign in a visible area on the premises on which the animals are sold o exposed for sale.
The Act also requires that no dealer can offer for sale any animal claiming that it is grown in a Halal way or any food commodity representing it as Halal until the dealer has registered information of the 
certifying Islamic agency specializing in Halal food or the supervising Muslim Inspector of Halal Food with the Director of Agriculture.
The Illinois Halal Food Act is unique in the sense that it is a new bill and not an amendment. It additionally contains provisons on the regulation of Halal farm.
The Illinois Halal Food Act was sponsored by Sen.Christine Radogno (R-La Grange) with Senators Thomas Walsh, Barack Hussein Obama, Louis Viverito, and Ira Silverstein as Chief Co-Sponsors.

f/ buildings,” tweeted DHS. “Never use turkey fryers in a garage or on a wooden deck.”
“We’re worried by the increasing reports of fires related with turkey fryer use,” warns John Drengenberg, consumer affairs manager of UL. “Based on our test findings, the fryers used to produce those great-tasting birds are not worth the risks. And, as a result of these tests, UL has decided not to certify any turkey fryers with our trusted UL Mark.”
DHS linked another warning tweet to a video of a blazing turkey fire created by safety experts at Underwriters Laboratories. “Make sure the turkey is completely thawed before placing in a fryer, or this may happen,” the tweet said, encouraging Americans to witness the danger firsthand through the following video:

Islam in Europe (H/T Maria) A 10-year-old girl was raped Saturday evening in a wooded area in the town of Gullestrup, north of Herning. She had been playing with a 9-year-old friend in a playground by the kindergarten when a man threatened them to go with him into the woods. The 9-year-old friend escaped and ran to get help, but the rapist disappeared before the girl’s parents and police showed up. The girl described the rapist as African, 16-18 years old, with short, curly hair.
The police are asking anybody who might have even insignificant details on the case, to contact the police. Three days after the rape, there is insecurity, suspicions, accusation and concern among the 2,000 adults, youth and children who live in Gullestrup. Many non-Danes, and Somalis in particular, feel they’re under suspicion.
Poul Erik Lyngsø, chairman of the local council: Naturally there’s insecurity and a feeling of being suspected among the residents of Somali background, since now everybody think that they’re the ones who did it, because they have dark skin.” He says they keep indoors out of fear of unrest.

Ekstra Bladet reported about a ‘lynch atmosphere’ and of groups of 25-30 armed residents who are looking for the rapist, which according to a local shopkeeper should be castrated, while others think he should pay with his life. An 18 year old Somali told the paper that people from the area suspect one of his friends, who is not a police suspect. (Not yet, anyway)
Michael Kjeldgaard of the central Denmark police says that he’s heard the rumors, but can’t reconcile it with what he sees. It’s obvious there will be a bad atmosphere after such a serious crime takes place in a small community, but he doesn’t see armed hordes out to get revenge.
Police and social workers were on the streets Monday to speak with people in an attempt to keep tempers calm.
Poul Erik Lyngsø of the local council had called key people in the community. He told them that obviously there will be sparks between certain groups, but otherwise it’s quiet and peaceful. We’ve calmed things down so the police can work in peace.

Two days after Muslim leaders and activists convened by the Majlis Ash-Shura (Islamic Leadership Council) of Metropolitan N.Y. held a (November 18, 2011) prayer service and rally decrying the NYPD’s illegal, outrageous and completely inappropriate ethnic and religious-based mapping and surveillance of the New York Muslim community, Mayor Michael Bloomberg and Police Commissioner Ray Kelly have announced the arrest of an alleged “lone wolf terrorist” intent on taking innocent lives in a pipe bomb plot.

It is worth noting that the individual described by both the Mayor and the Police Commissioner was apparently tracked and, ultimately, arrested because of his interest in bomb-making and the steps he allegedly took towards assembling an explosive device. Assuming this early version of the facts is accurate, it is worth noting how different that policing approach is from the NYPD/CIA program targeting our faith community, based not on suspicion of criminal conduct but on religion, race, ethnicity, and such legally protected activities as mosque attendance, enrollment in a Muslim school, or where one shops for food or has coffee or tea. (That’s right, all Muslims should be considered terror suspects. It’s only a matter of time until they have an outbreak of Sudden Jihad Syndrome)

Considering the long history in America of “lone wolf” assassins and terrorists of different ethnicities, political persuasions, and religious affiliations or none, on one hand we are glad whenever a wrong or evil is averted that would result in the taking of innocent human lives. The Islamic Leadership Council of Metropolitan New York continues to oppose all acts of terrorism – at home or abroad, whether by individuals, groups, or states.
On the other hand, we await the details of this particular arrest. We are waiting to determine the answers to the following questions (Nobody owes you answers to anything)– As we have already learned that there was a “confidential informant” involved in the case for some time, is this arrest yet another example of police generated entrapment schemes and plots? (Whenever a muslim terrorist is arrested, the muslim infiltrators always yell about entrapment. The FBI should be investigating the muslims behind this press release)
Authorities have been watching his every move since May 2009 and finally cracked down on the al Qaeda supporter. He had been making pipe bombs and planned on unleashing his wrath on the city of New York by blowing up certain facilities and murdering U.S. soldiers returning from Iraq and Afghanistan.
What was the informant agent’s role in pushing the plot forward? Is the timing of today’s announcement purely coincidental or strategically convenient? Is the defendant mentally deficient or unstable in any way? How long was the NYPD monitoring the defendant’s online activities? Was the NYPD directly engaged in surveillance on the defendant in Schenectady? (How about, none of this is any of your goddamn business?)
Why were the federal authorities only at the “assessment” stage in this case, and did they decline to investigate or prosecute under federal laws? Time will tell. In the interim, we call on the independent media to ask serious and probing questions regarding the extent and nature of the threat posed by the accused. (Why just him? We’re equally interested in the threat posed by ALL muslims)

TAXI JIHAD? A man is left lying injured and bleeding as the taxi, which plowed into him, speeds off into the night. The Muslim driver, Mohammed Javed, in a fit of rage, used his taxi as a weapon, driving it straight at the passenger in a fight over a £2.00 fare.
UK DAILY MAIL The impact knocked Mr Lloyd on to the hood and he clung on desperately before he was thrown to the ground, suffering head injuries and a broken hand. Moments earlier, the driver had been arguing with Mr Lloyd and his friend Polly Nicalaous about the fare for a short journey across Bristol after a night out.
The pair had asked Javed if he could take them to nearby Stoke’s Croft for £7. The driver said he would charge according to the meter and they got in. When the meter reached £6 they asked to be let out but Javed kept driving.
They threatened to call the police unless he stopped, but he kept going, before pulling over in Stoke’s Croft where the meter showed £8. The passengers told him they would only pay £5 because they had asked him to stop. Eric Waley, prosecuting, said: ‘Javed got out of his taxi, seemed to put his arm out to stop them leaving and is seen to throw a punch at Mr Lloyd who tries to block it.
‘The defendant ran back to his car. Mr Lloyd returned to take a photo on his BlackBerry. ‘A black cloud of dust can be seen from the wheels spinning where he [Javed] clearly has his foot down on the accelerator.’ Javed, of Bristol, admitted dangerous driving and assault causing actual bodily harm.
He was jailed for six months and banned from driving for two years. Recorder Simon Foster told him: ‘It is extraordinary that there was not more injuries caused.’ (Only SIX months for attempted murder? That’s all?)

A Muslim student named Thawab walked from the Center for the Arts to the parking lot and found two swastikas and a penis etched into the sides of her car. She reported the incident to University Police and requested the department alert the entire campus about it, but they chose not to.
UB SPECTRUM This is the third hate crime that Thawab, a senior English and political science major who didn’t want her full name revealed, has experienced while at UB. Two years ago, while she was passing out flyers in protest against speaker Israeli Effi Eitam, a JEWISH student from the Hillel Office asked her, “Why don’t you go blow yourself up?”
Thawab’s car was also the target of hate crimes last semester. She repeatedly found the words “I will kill you” in the dust on her car. Thawab reported each incident to UPD. None of them have been resolved, and they have all gone unreported to the UB community, according to Thawab. “I think UB is more concerned about having this good image of its population, so it just hides these things that happen, these hate crimes.” Thawab said.(No, they are just tired of endless complaints from bagheads like you and the rest of your death cult)
Thawab is a Syrian-American citizen who moved to the United States at a very young age (Yet feels the need to don a headbag and make herself look like the people who hate Americans). She attended Amherst Middle School and Williamsville North High School. The Spectrum‘s news reporters tried multiple times over the past week to obtain police reports from UPD regarding these incidents, but the reports were never received.

Thawab feels UB students should be made aware that there is racist activity on campus (And what race is Islam?) She views the swastika as “a symbol of hate.” She would have liked the UPD to send out a campus-wide alert. (You act like a Nazi, you get labeled a Nazi)
Some students responded to the situation by asking, “You’re not Jewish, why are you even upset?” according to Thawab. She thinks the swastika has come to encompass and represent any sort of discrimination. “It’s not like a Jewish/Muslim thing,” Thawab said. “It’s just a racist thing at its core. She added that many from the Jewish community have supported her (No surprise, there are are a lot of self-hating Jewish scum at univerisities).
Thawab said that when she went to UPD to report the crime, the first thing the officer asked her was, “Were you parked correctly?” – implying someone may have keyed her car out of anger resulting from a poor parking job. But for Thawab, hate and racism are the only explanations for the keyed obscenities. (It isn’t racism, it’s hatred of Muslims who are not a race, but a dangerous supremacist group)
She thinks the perpetrator either saw her leave her vehicle wearing her Muslim headscarf, or was aware that her “itISapartheid.org” bumper sticker is an organization in support of the Palestinian cause. (I guess she’s right)

Thawab doesn’t believe the case is going to go much further, because UPD told her there was no security camera on her car. She doesn’t think the police can do much to find the perpetrator, but what she really wants is for the UB community to be made aware. (Nobody cares, bitch) “I told the police they should report this as a hate crime,” Thawab said. (Islam IS a hate crime) “Nothing was reported to the UB community; it was as if it never happened.”

‘Diversity Our Strength’ is the motto of the City of Toronto. But as the video illustrates, a multi-faith prayer room run by the City has been taken over entirely by a single religion – Islam. There are no other symbols belonging to any other religion in that room. Anyone walking into that room would think they were in a mosque.
The tip for this story came from a Toronto cab driver, an Asian man and a Christian, who emigrated to Canada in order to escape Muslim persecution. He was a graduate of the City of Toronto’s Taxi College.
The cab driver was mortified to see that prayer room, it is in no way shape or form inclusive or respectful of others, in fact it’s downright threatening to those who suffered at the hands of Muslims in their countries of origin.

The Blaze On Sunday, Glenn Beck was honored in New York City at the Zionist Organization of America’s (ZOA) Justice Louis D. Brandeis Award Dinner for his ardent defense of Israel. But the ZOA wasn‘t the only one singing Beck’s praises. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also recognized Beck’s efforts.
“I also want to congratulate Glenn Beck for winning the … defender of Israel Award,” Netanyahu said. “Glenn … you stand for a lot. You too have been fearless in defending Israel against the slanders that are hurled against [it]. You’ve done that with considerable personal cost, but you’ve never backed off, you’ve never flinched, you’ve never walked away. And I want to tell you how deeply we appreciate this stand of courage and integrity.”
