Muslim Cab drivers rushing to services at the Islamic Cultural Center at Riverside Drive and West 72nd Street are double- and triple-parking outside the house of terror-training, forcing northbound traffic on the recently re-opened stretch of Riverside Drive to veer into the oncoming traffic lane.

“It’s an accident waiting to happen,” said James Beale, the resident manager at 240 Riverside Blvd., one of four Trump high-rises along the boulevard. “It’s a very dangerous situation. It’s like all the rules of the road are thrown aside.”

Beale said residents in his building complain regularly about the flood of taxis. 311 records show at least nine complaints this year about illegal parking at that intersection.
The illegal parking was largely ignored for years, but has recently become the source of a police crackdown, after the long delayed connection between Riverside Boulevard and West 72nd was re-opened to traffic last month after a four-year-closure, Beale said.
West 72nd Street near Riverside Boulevard was flooded with illegally parked cars on a recent Friday, when Muslim cabbies attended prayers at the Islamic Cultural Center at 1 Riverside Drive.
But the cabbies who gather for the religious devotions — which can run as long as a 30 minute sermon followed by a 15-minute prayer — say they have no qualms about breaking parking rules in order to attend the prayer services, which are mandatory for practicing Muslims.
The Friday service, which is typically scheduled during the middle of the day, is the most heavily attended, with up to 300 worshippers.

“For me, my prayer is more important, because that’s what I’m going to take with me the day I die,” said cabbie Abdoulaye Diallo, a 30-year-old immigrant from Guinea, who left his taxi in a no parking zone outside the mosque at 1 Riverside Drive on Tuesday evening so he could dash in for a quick evening prayer, one of the five mandatory prayers he performs daily.
Diallo said he’s racked up several $75 tickets for parking illegally in order to pray, but he doesn’t mind. “I’m not going to take my money with me,” he said.

Jim Littlefield, a security director at the Trump Corporation, said that as police have stepped up their enforcement on the illegal parking, tensions have flared. He said he saw a police officer who had been asking double parked cars to move handcuff a taxi driver on Nov. 18. Littlefield, a retired NYPD cop, said he then called 911 because he saw several cabbies approach the officer and was concerned about his safety. Several police cars responded to the scene, Littlefield said.
Abdur Rahman, an assistant imam at the mosque, said officials at the Islamic Cultural Center are well aware of the parking problem and have made repeated announcements asking worshippers to follow parking laws.”We’re trying to control it and take care of it,” he said.
Rahman said police allowed the illegal parking to happen for years outside the Islamic Cultural Center, but took more aggressive steps to control the practice after Riverside Boulevard and West 72nd Street reopened to traffic.
Rahman said that aside from avoiding a pricey traffic ticket or an accident, cabbies have a religious incentive to follow parking rules. “In Islam, you have to make happy neighbors,” he said. “It’s a rule of Islam. Good Muslims should follow parking rules, because it’s a rule of the city.”

Rahman said the city should consider more flexible parking rules around Muslim houses of worship on Fridays. He noted that on-street parking is free on Sundays, in part so Christians can go to church without worrying about feeding a meter.
Officials from the Trump Corporation have asked police to beef up ticketing of illegally parked cabs and contacted major cab companies about the problem, Beale said.

But the Trump Corporation has not approached the mosque directly, said Thomas Pienkos, senior vice president of operations for the Trump Corporation.
“We didn’t want to get into a local squabble with people, especially over religious issues,” Pienkos said. “I think that’s the same reason the police were reluctant to write tickets, because of the sensitivity of the situation. They’ve got kind of a hot potato of an issue.”

Imperial Security Inc. has agreed to pay $50,000 to settle a federal religious discrimination lawsuit involving a Muslim employee’s religious head covering (apparently filed by CAIR), said the federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

that covers her hair, ears and neck, as required by her religious beliefs—when she interviewed for a job as a security guard at the Philadelphia-based firm in November 2009.

However, she was told to remove the headbag when she reported to her first work assignment. After she refused to do so, she was terminated, said EEOC regional attorney Debra Lawrence.
The EEOC said in its statement that in addition to the $50,000 settlement, the three-year consent decree resolving the lawsuit prohibits Imperial Security from further discriminating based on religion or engaging in unlawful retaliation.
A company spokesman could not immediately be reached for comment.Charges filed with the EEOC by Muslims outweigh those filed by individuals of other identified religious groups.

QUESTION: “What is causing Muslim asylum seekers parasites, who are flooding into Australia, to riot, burn buildings, attack police and terrorize the community…AGAIN?”
Rioting detainees stole cars, torched buildings, smashed CCTV cameras, escaped into the community and used cement blocks, mop handles and aerosol cans as weapons. The violence became so serious the AFP was forced to take control of the facility. One month later, asylum-seekers took to the rooftop of Sydney’s Villawood detention centre, triggering riots during which demountables were burnt to the ground and firefighters were pelted with roof tiles.
Despite cataloguing a litany of mismanagement by the Immigration Department and detention centre manager Serco, a report commissioned after the incidents has not laid blame for the riots, during which staff were assaulted, buildings destroyed and detainees escaped. (How about blaming the perpetrators instead of asking yourselves, ‘where did we go wrong?’)
Written by Allan Hawke AC and Helen Williams AO, the report found the constant expansion of the Christmas Island detention facility resulted in a corresponding decline in security. On March 11, asylum-seekers breached its perimeter fences, sparking days of rioting. Detention centre staff were assaulted and some had to be rescued by the Australian Federal Police, who fired capsicum spray and bean-bag projectiles to quell the violence.
Immigration Minister Chris Bowen, who commissioned the independent inquiry into the incidents, said yesterday: “The motivating factor for these disturbances was frustration at the decisions being taken that people were not regarded as refugees.”
The Hawke-Williams report cited the rapid rise in the detention centre population as the cause of the riots, alongside the growing number of asylum-seekers whose claims had been refused. The number of asylum-seekers in detention rose from a few hundred to more than 6000 in less than 18 months, the report found. “The immigration detention infrastructure was not able to cope with either the number or the varying risk profiles of detainees,” the report said.
The report painted a damning picture of bureaucratic confusion over the management of detention centres. (It isn’t your management policies, it’s your immigration policies that let these Muslim invaders into Australia in the first place and continues to do so)

Israel Matzav According to YNet, a brawl between Jewish and Arab girls on the Jerusalem tram on Monday ended with the driver stopping the tram and letting all of the passengers off afterone of the Jewish girls used a personal canister of tear gas on the Arabs.
The brawl erupted after dozens of Arab and Jewish girls clashed on one of the train cars. At one point, a Jewish girl at the site pulled out a personal canister of tear gas and sprayed it at the Arab girls.
The gas spread throughout the train and hurt other passengers uninvolved in the incident. Following the subsequent commotion, the driver was forced to stop the train and let passengers out, as the gas was bothering those onboard.
CityPass, which operates the Light Rail line in the capital, issued the following response after the incident: “We will not be accepting any act of violence. We call on all residents to show tolerance.”
Good luck with that. For those of you who are wondering, the Arabs are on the tram mostly because it goes through the predominantly Arab neighborhoods of Shuafat and Beit Hanina. That was done so that we could show that we are providing services to the Arabs in our united city (which of course drew worldwide condemnation).
Twenty years ago, when we made aliya, Jews and Arabs used to ride many of the same buses. That was before the days of the suicide bombers, who started in 1994. But it’s been years since large numbers of Jews and Arabs shared public transportation. (So, why start now?)

Last week, we learned that Butterball was selling halal turkeys without labeling them as such. Now, we see that when a store sells meat as halal-certified when it isn’t, it has to pay a big fine. Any lawyers out there want to file a class-action suit against Butterball?
OC REGISTER ANAHEIM – Local Muslims who read a Register story about a District Attorney’s Office investigation that determined an Anaheim market was falsely selling meat as halal said they are outraged and considering legal action.
Last week, the Orange County D.A.’s office announced that it had obtained a $527,000 settlement against Anaheim Super King Market, at 10500 Magnolia Ave., after investigators determined that the market was incorrectly advertising and selling generic meat and mixed meats as halal. Calling meat halal indicates that it was slaughtered in a specific way, in accordance with Islamic Law.
“I’m shocked by it. My whole family is very disappointed,” said Sam Chouche, 23, of Anaheim who shopped at the store. “It specifies in the Quran that you must eat meat in a certain way, that you shouldn’t eat meat killed inhumanely. (But Halal is the most inhumane kind of slaughter. See video below) It’s our faith.” At least a dozen people called or emailed the Register to express outrage.
HALAL PORK?
“We just cannot believe this,” said Shakeel Ahmed of Anaheim. “It’s very disgusting, and all (of my) family is very upset – so upset that we throw up and cry.”
Several people said they had meat from Anaheim Super King stored in their freezers that must be destroyed. The investigation began in early 2010. Anaheim Super King Market didn’t admit fault. Market officials did not return phone calls on Monday seeking comment.
The market now must only purchase meat that is clearly labeled halal on the invoice and packaging and must ensure that halal meat is properly segregated.
The settlement money doesn’t go to individual victims, because it would be too difficult to determine who exactly was victimized, a D.A.’s spokeswoman has said. Instead, the money goes into a fund to help prosecute fraud cases.
Several Muslims said they should be entitled to compensation and are considering filing claims.

SKY NEWS At least four Katyusha rockets have been fired from Lebanon into northern Israel in the first cross-border strikes for almost two years. No-one was injured but a gas tank was hit and set alight and several buildings were reported to have been damaged.
The Israeli military described the incident as “serious” and responded with artillery shells directed at the “source of fire” in southern Lebanon.”We hold the Lebanese government and the Lebanese army responsible for preventing any rocket fire at Israel,” a statement released by the Israeli Defence Forces said.
No organization has claimed responsibility for firing the rockets but there are fears that heightened tensions in the region could provoke Hizbollah into renewing its assaults on Israel. Hizbollah has warned that foreign interference in Syria or action against Iran’s suspected nuclear programme could lead to a confrontation with Israel.
In 2006, a war between Israel and Hizbollah killed 1,200 Lebanese and 160 Israelis. The border has been largely quiet since then. Israeli police have raised the state of alert in the Northern District of the country but residents have not been ordered to go to the shelters.

SAN FRANCISCO: A Bay Area firefighter, single father, and former Marine is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries after being intentionally hit with a car following an early morning argument at a fast food restaurant. Police have described the suspect as a mixed race or Latin male, 18-24 years old, with short black hair and a manicured beard. (A Muslim? We’ll probably never know)

HUFFPO Twenty-nine-year old Albert Bartal was eating at a Richmond District Jack in the Box a little before 3am on Thanksgiving night when he got into a physical altercation with a still unidentified suspect. The two were separated by bystanders and Bartal quickly left for a nearby Shell station.
The other man also immediately exited the restaurant and got in a black, Mazda CX SUV. He followed Bartal to the gas station parking lot and rammed him with his car before fleeing the scene.
Bartal suffered traumatic brain injures as a result of the crash and was taken to San Francisco General Hospital.
“This is a horrible experience that no fireman or police officer would ever want to have to go through,” Justin Scheef , director of the San Mateo-Santa Cruz Chapter of the CDF Firefighter’s Union, told CBS San Francisco.
