GERMANY: Anti-Islamization event in Berlin
Posted: August 28, 2011 Filed under: Islamization of the West Leave a comment »
There was an anti-islamization event in Berlin today, organized under the auspices of the Pro Deutschland/Pro Berlin political movement, which is fielding several candidates in the upcoming Berlin elections.
Islam vs Europe A few hundred people were in attendance, including Lars Seidensticker, a Pro Berlin candidate who was the victim of a recent acid attack while putting up campaign posters.
Despite far-left militants having previously incited violence against the “racists and fascists” they claimed would be present, the event passed off peacefully. No doubt this was due to the heavy police presence. The photo below shows the event area almost fully enclosed by police vans in the background.

But Muslims in Germany are more concerned with “Islamophobia” than they are with Muslim radicals among them and think non-Muslim extremists are the real problem.
They said that national security is fine — but that any discussion linking Islam directly to terrorism is the worst kind of wrong. After taking office in March, Interior Minister Friedrich caused outrage when saying historically Islam was no part of Germany.

Right before the 10th Anniversary of 9/11, Mayor 'Dhimmi' Bloomberg will light up the Empire State Building in 'Islamic green'

Mayor Bloomberg is banning all clergy and first responders from the Tenth Anniversary Ceremony for 9/11, but you can be sure he’ll invite a bunch of Muslims there to celebrate their triumph.
By lighting the Empire State Building in Islamic green for Ramadan each year since 9/11, it’s as if Bloomberg is telling Muslims which building to target next.
Vinienco (H/T Henry P) The Empire State Building will celebrate the holiday, Eid-al-Fitr, by shining its world-famous tower lights
green on August 30, 2011. In Islam, the color green symbolizes a happy occasion and the importance of nature.
Eid-al-Fitr, or “the Festival of Fast-Breaking,” is a joyous celebration which commemorates the end of Ramadan and marks the completion of a month of spiritual renewal for the global Muslim community.
During the holy month of Ramadan, Muslims around the world observe a strict fast from sunrise until sunset, participate in prayer and demonstrate acts of kindness.
Soaring 1,454 feet (from base to antenna) above Midtown Manhattan, the Empire State Building is the “World’s Most Famous Office Building.”
The Empire State Building was named America’s favorite building in a poll conducted by the American Institute of Architects. The Empire State Building Observatory is one of the world’s most beloved attractions and is the region’s #1 tourist destination. (The perfect target for al-Qaeda)

PAKISTAN: Street children sex workers often abused by police, too
Posted: August 27, 2011 Filed under: Children Leave a comment »
Ali knows first hand the misery of life on the streets. Sexually assaulted as a child, he became a pimp of young boys- the only way he knew how to survive as a member of the underclass. He says he was 12 years old when he was attacked. Since then, he has been dragged into a vicious cycle of horrifying abuse allegedly aided and abetted by police and which few are willing to confront in the Muslim country.
Express Tribune “It was just the third night I slept on a street when a policeman picked me up and did bad things to me. I cried a lot but no one came to help me,” Ali, now 17, told AFP.
He was sexually assaulted for a second time by the leader of a street gang, who then forced Ali to join the 17 other children in his gang. By 14 he was a full-time sex worker. His pimp gave him a mobile phone to keep in contact with clients.
According to charities which work to protect street children in Pakistan, up to 90 per cent are sexually abused on the first night that they sleep rough and 60 per cent accuse police of sexually abusing them.
“Children on the street are beaten, tortured, sexually assaulted, and sometimes killed,” said Rana Asif Habib, head of the Initiator Human Development Foundation (IHDF). ”Police (should) protect people. When policemen are themselves involved in molesting children, who will protect them?” he asks.

Sex worker Nadeem, who pimps 10 teenage sex workers aged 14 to 18, lights a cigarette in Saddar on July 25.
“What we have gathered in our research is that policemen make up more than 60 per cent of those who physically torment, sexually harass street children,” said Anwer Kazmi of the Edhi Foundation, the country’s largest charity.
Karachi is home to Pakistan’s biggest community of street children- tens of thousands of victims of domestic violence and broken homes, drugs and crime, in the steamy port city. More than 170,000 street children live on the streets across the country. Illiterate, uneducated and most without family, the children can grow into seasoned criminals, drug addicts or fall prey to extremist militancy.
When Ali turned 16, he tried to escape. He received counselling from a charity and was taught photography.

According to charities which work to protect street children, up to 90 per cent are sexually abused on the first night out
He tried to make it his profession. “I was happy with my work, but a year ago, a policeman put me in the lockup on a false charge, confiscated my camera and abused me sexually,” he said.
The experience turned him against the world. “I decided to become stronger. Now I have my own gang and many influential people are my clients. No one can touch me now.” Ali says he acts as a pimp to 10 teenage sex workers aged 14-18, taking a sizeable cut of whatever the boys in earn. ”Half an hour after finishing with one client I get another call and I forget all about wanting a respectable life.”
Ali lives on a street in the downtown Saddar neighbourhood, but rents a room in a cheap hotel when he has surplus cash. He confesses that he too sexually assaulted a child. “He insulted me and my family so I told him

In this picture taken on July 22, 2011 a Pakistani street child and scavenger rests on a car in downtown Karachi
he had it coming. So I grabbed him and gave it to him. I still remember that night. I haven’t done that to anyone else since then and I don’t want to.”
Hanif is a fisherman’s son. He insists he is 12, but he looks much younger. He left home three years ago because his family beat him and says he was abused by police. IHDF fears he too will be dragged into the sex industry. “The police tried to make me do bad things six or seven times but I managed to get away,” he said. “But one day, one policeman took me by force, put a cloth over my mouth and took me to a place where he did bad things.”
Shaukat Hussain, head of police in Karachi’s southern district where many street children live, said any officers found guilty would be punished, but denied the force was anything like as culpable as reported. Pakistan offers little protection to vulnerable children. “A draft bill for child protection has been pending with the interior ministry for two years,” a senior official of the human rights ministry told AFP on condition of anonymity as he was not authorised to talk to the media.
“There is a visible lack of interest on the part of the government on this issue … despite our constant pursuits,” said the ministry official. One former police official told AFP that he organised seminars to sensitise police on how to treat street children four years ago, but that the programme was abruptly abandoned when he retired.
And this is not just a problem for Pakistan. In London, Pakistani muslim immigrants are doing the same thing, kidnapping and pimping out young white girls.
Al-Qaeda linked Somali terrorists (al-Shabaab) have beheaded at least eleven civilians
Posted: August 27, 2011 Filed under: Beheadings (GRAPHIC) Leave a comment »
Somali Islamist rebels have beheaded at least 11 civilians in the capital in the past two weeks, a campaign of terror that residents said Friday is designed to show the insurgency can still act in Mogadishu after withdrawing from their bases there earlier this month.
Markacadey (H/T Susan K) “We wake up with beheaded bodies on the streets every day,” said Abdinur Marwan, who lives in a district of Mogadishu called Hewila. “They call themselves Muslims while doing what Allah banned! (But prophet Muhammad encouraged) Everyone is trying to leave here because people are being killed like goats.”
The Islamist al-Shabab militia withdrew from their bases in the Somali capital after being steadily pushed back by more heavily armed African Union forces supporting the U.N.-backed Somali government. The Islamists described the withdrawal as a “tactical retreat” and said they would still carry out operations in the capital.
Resident Afrah Abdikhayre said five decapitated bodies were found in his Suqa Holaha area last week. He says two beheaded men in Somali government uniforms and another three headless bodies were found this week.
Resident Nur Sugow said al-Shabab beheaded a donkey cart driver in the Yaqshid district. Al-Shabab frequently carries out beheadings and amputations. The militia also executed two men and a 16-year-old boy by firing squad on Tuesday after accusing them of spying.
Residents — some to terrified to give their names — appealed to the Somali government and AU troops to secure their neighborhood. Although al-Shabab has pulled back, individual fighters are still active in the city and gunfire is still common.

The Obama Regime doesn't want you to know the details about a tax fraud settlement case with an Islamic bank tied to terrorist groups
Posted: August 27, 2011 Filed under: ISLAMOBAMA Leave a comment »
The Justice Department has agreed to end its investigation into an international Islamic financial network with ties to the Muslim Brotherhood and a Saudi prince in a settlement in excess of $37 million. You just haven’t heard about it. The Obama Justice Department has declined to release the settlement agreement, or even publicly acknowledge its existence.
Main Justice (H/T Liana) -The Islamic Investment Co. of the Gulf (Bahamas) Ltd., which reportedly has ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, agreed to pay some $37 million to resolve an investigation into whether the firm structured its real estate investments to unlawfully avoid U.S. taxes on them, according to people familiar with the matter.
The first third of the settlement is already paid, these people said.
But the company inked a non-prosecution agreement with the government, which means the deal doesn’t require court approval and isn’t filed in public.
When asked about the settlement earlier this week, Justice Department spokesman Charles Miller said: “I have nothing on this.”
The secrecy of the deal has prompted interest in Congress. Rep. Frank Wolf (R-Va.), chairman of the House appropriations subcommittee that oversees the Justice Department budget and author of legislation that created the National Commission on Terrorism in the 1990s, told Main Justice he planned to ask the department next week to release the documents.
“They’ve got to let this thing out,” Wolf — a persistent critic of the Barack Obama administration Justice Department — said in an interview, referring to the bank’s alleged ties to terrorism financing.
New York lawyer James J. McGuire, who is listed in court filings as a lawyer for the Islamic bank’s corporate parent, did not respond to a voice mail and a message left with his assistant seeking comment.
In a case that has had many strange twists and turns, the mystery surrounding the settlement is only the latest. The saga dates back to 2004, when two former employees of a related firm called Overland Realty Capital, LLC sued the company in state court in Texas and said they were fired for blowing the whistle on fraud.
In 2007 the Wall Street Journal reported that a federal grand jury in Boston was examining whether the firms evaded taxes on complicated real estate deals.
A prosecutor from the Justice Department’s counterterrorism section first handled the case, according to a
Wall Street Journal story from that year. But the original terrorism-related probe morphed into the same kind of strategy used to nab gangster Al Capone, who was eventually prosecuted not for the Prohibition-era crime syndicate he ran, but for the easier-to-prove charge of tax evasion.
The firm structured real estate investments through a network of shell companies in offshore tax havens including the Cayman Islands, the Journal reported in 2007. Such structures, while not necessarily illegal, become unlawful when designed primarily to circumvent IRS rules.
While the department is staying mum on the settlement, the company at issue is linked to the royal family in Saudi Arabia, a powerful U.S. ally. It is a subsidiary of Dar Al-Maal Al-Islami Trust, known as DMI
Trust, which was founded by Saudi prince Mohammed Al-Faisal Al-Saud.
A Muslim Brotherhood leader, Yassin Qadi, came under investigation in the U.S. for allegedly using a DMI affiliate in the 1990s to transfer money to organizations affiliated with the Palestinian group Hamas and al-Qaeda.
Former Sudanese leader Hassan al-Turabi, an Islamist who gave al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden a base in Khartoum in the 1990s, spent a decade on DMI’s board. A spiritual leader of the Brotherhood, Yusuf al-Qaradawi, an Al-Jazeera television show host who has expressed support for suicide bombings, also served as an early DMI adviser.
The settlement was negotiated by the Justice Department’s Tax Division, which has been without a confirmed director since the start of the Barack Obama administration. Obama’s first choice for the job, Mary L. Smith, faced stiff resistance from Republicans for her lack of tax experience. The acting head of the division is a career Justice Department lawyer, John A. DiCicco.

Why is Hillary Clinton protecting the privacy of Anwar al-Awlaki, the #1 Islamic terrorist on the CIA 'kill' list?
Posted: August 27, 2011 Filed under: EnemyWithin-American Leave a comment »
While the Islamic cleric, Anwar al-Awlaki, linked to several terror plots on America, is the most wanted American on the CIA’s kill or capture list, the U.S. State Department refuses to release documents about al-Awlaki citing his right to privacy.
FOX NEWS - (H/T Revere Rides Again) -This disconnect was uncovered as part of the ongoing investigation by Fox News’ Specials Unit into the cleric who is a leader of a major Al Qaeda affiliate.
Through the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) in March 2010, Fox News requested “….any and all records
maintained by the United States Department of State, in the passport file….” for the cleric. Initially, the request was referred to Human Resources at the State Department, before a formal response was issued more than a year later, in August 2011. The letter reads in part :
The government refused to release the records for the terror leader who is well known to be the first American that the U.S. government has green-lighted to be killed or captured.
After 9/11, Anwar Al-Awlaki was a tier one, priority target for the Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF) in San Diego because of his known contacts with the hijackers. A State Department agent assigned to the JTTF, Ray Fournier, put together an arrest warrant for passport fraud in 2002. As part of that fraud, al-Awlaki lied on his Social Security application claiming he was born in Yemen, not New Mexico. At the time, there was not enough firm evidence to link the cleric to 9/11, so the passport fraud case was seen as a holding charge.
In addition, as Fox News was first to report in its special “The American Terrorist,” the cleric fraudulently obtained $20,000 in scholarship money to fund his college education in Colorado. Al-Awlaki, who is a dual U.S./Yemeni national, claimed to be a foreign student. As an American citizen, the cleric was not entitled to the scholarship paid for by the U.S. taxpayer. According to the agent who handled the case, the documents still exist and are held by the State Department.
The denial of State Department documents is part of an ongoing pattern. In 2010, through the Freedom of Information Act, Fox News sought an FBI intelligence report, also known as an EC, that was written about the cleric and his radical ties two days before the cleric mysteriously entered the U.S. in October 2002 and the arrest warrant for passport fraud was pulled by the Justice Department. When the 27 page EC was produced by the FBI, all of the pages were redacted, citing national security and an executive order — most likely, the warrantless wiretapping program. READ MORE
BNI friend, 'Diane from Ohio,' succeeds in getting Ramadan dinner with terrorist front group CAIR cancelled* at Catholic school

Complaints and a request from the archbishop have led a Cincinnati Roman Catholic high school to drop plans for a Ramadan dinner to build goodwill with Muslims. *However, according to Diane, Mother of Mercy is still hosting the Iftar dinner even though the Archbishop has said to cancel it. The school has just moved it to a Catholic parish center.

But Diane isn’t finished, as she writes here:
BNI,
This isn’t good enough for me. I am trying to get an appointment with the Archbishop now that they put this out there in the paper I can use the paper to my advantage. Please keep me in your prayers I need them, as you are in mine.
Thank you to all of your readers for their information and phone calls, I know God will not let this all be in vain.God Bless, Diane
USA TODAY President Kirsten MacDougal of Mother of Mercy school says Archbishop Dennis Schnurr received “emotionally charged” emails, mostly from outside the area, and asked the girls’ school to cancel its Friday night plans. The event will be held at a church parish center instead.
A spokesman for Schnurr tells The Cincinnati Enquirer (http://bit.ly/pXflfW ) the complaints centered around the school partnership in the dinner with the local chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, or CAIR. The U.S. has linked CAIR to a terror financing case and the FBI won’t work directly with its members.
The article below confirms why Diane’s battle to keep Islam out of the schools is far from over:
CINCINNATI Mother of Mercy, a Catholic girls high school, complied with a request from Archbishop Dennis Schnurr and backed out of hosting an interfaith Ramadan dinner at the school Friday night. Instead, the dinner will be held in the Catholic Center at St. Monica-St. George Parish in University Heights, which is not a school.
Schnurr on Monday asked Mother of Mercy to cancel its plans to host an Iftar, an evening meal, with a local chapter of the (MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD & HAMAS AFFILIATED) CAIR – Council on American-Islamic Relations. Mother of Mercy had planned to co-host an Iftar with CAIR’s local chapter since spring, when groups of Mercy students and students linked with CAIR performed community service together.
But recent emails and other contacts with school and Archdiocese officials changed their plans.
Mother of Mercy President Kirsten MacDougal said Schnurr has received complaints from people – she didn’t know how many. Most of the complaints were emails from people who do not live in this region but who follow the news and activities of CAIR’s national office, she said.
The emails “were not hostile, they were not threatening, but they were emotionally charged,” she said. Schnurr could not be reached for comment. Archdiocesan spokesman Dan Andriacco said that Schnurr received complaints – not threats – about CAIR’s involvement.
MacDougal said her school and the Archdiocese still support interfaith dialogue, especially with Muslim groups, but the closeness to the 10th anniversary of 9/11 plays a factor.
“The fact that Mercy was co-hosting this Ramadan meal with the Council on American-Islamic Relations specifically had become too great a distraction from the positive intent of building relationships and understanding with our Muslim neighbors,” MacDougal wrote in her letter to staff.
“While the Archdiocese appreciates our good intentions, there is now some concern for the safety of those who would attend the meal due to the negative reaction this has garnered from some. As a result, the Archbishop has asked that we cancel our hosting the meal.”
Mother of Mercy’s parents and students Thursday disagreed about the school’s decision. Some parents said they had read negative things about the national CAIR group and didn’t want Mercy associated with even the local group.
“I’m glad it’s canceled; it wasn’t a good thing,” said Kelly Jennings, a Mercy parent who lives in Bridgetown. “There were a lot of parents who were up in arms about it. … It would have really given Mercy a bad name.”
Casey Tegenkamp, a freshman from Miami Heights, was disappointed that the dinner won’t be held at the school, because she’d wanted to attend. She said she thinks it’s important for young people to understand other people’s faiths. “We’ve got to know what other people’s religions are,” she said. “We need to know how other people think. If we don’t know, that might get us into trouble.” Her father, Tom Tegenkamp, agreed, although he said he understands school administrators’ concerns with safety.
“It’s a shame this had to be canceled over security concerns,” he said. “I don’t know how we’re ever going to get to the point of tolerance in our society if we have to worry about these events.”
Andriacco said the complaints seemed mostly focused on CAIR’s national organization, which “has been the subject of U.S. government concern,” Andriacco said. “Archbishop Schnurr thought (it) had become a distraction from building relationships and understanding with our Muslim neighbors. … When you have a high emotional temperature surrounding an issue you start to worry about how the children might be affected by it.”
CAIR, based in Washington D.C., is the largest Muslim civil liberties and advocacy organization in the United States. Its stated mission is to enhance the understanding of Islam and build coalitions that promote mutual understanding. (CAIR LIES! It is a Muslim Brotherhood offshoot whose primary goal is the Islamization of America. See the CAIR Nazis Category in the sidebar here)
The national CAIR group has been scrutinized for years as one of many Islamic groups on the radar of federal agencies investigating terrorism. Critics of CAIR say it supports an extremist agenda. They point out that at least five people with ties to the national group or its leadership have been convicted or deported because of links to terrorist groups.
The Washington, D.C.-based CAIR was among 275,000 nonprofits nationwide that the Internal Revenue Service stripped of tax-exempt status in June. None of the groups filed required tax returns, known as Form 990s, for three years, and any donations to them can be taxed, the IRS reported.
CAIR spokesman Ibrahim Hooper said his group filed accurate, on-time returns but lost its tax-exempt status over an incorrect filing from several years ago. But employees couldn’t produce CAIR’s latest Form 990 and critics suggest the charity avoided filing to hide financial dealings from the public.
Local and national CAIR spokespeople said their groups are not involved in criminal cases and advocate against terrorism and violence.
Yet the Cincinnati FBI office, along with other FBI offices around the country, was told several years ago by top FBI officials to limit contact with CAIR. Local offices are not permitted to participate in an event sponsored by CAIR and are not allowed to invite CAIR leaders to sit on boards or community groups set up by the FBI, said Mike Brooks, the FBI’s spokesman in Cincinnati.
But local agents do talk to CAIR officials and have investigated claims of civil rights violations against Muslims, he said. “They are not considered to be a terrorist organization or anything like that,” Brooks said. “If they want to talk, we will talk.”
The meal at Mercy had been planned as a potluck, with about 100 adult and student participants bringing dishes to reflect their culture to the school cafeteria, CAIR organizers said. MacDougal said she knew of only two families from her school who had confirmed they would attend.
Roula Allouch, board president of the local CAIR group, said she was told Monday of Mother of Mercy’s decision to not host the dinner and she considered canceling it.
She thanked the Franciscans Network, a local group of lay Catholics that sponsors events that bring together Christians and Muslims, for renting the St. Monica-St. George space, which isn’t a school. The center is at 328 W. McMillan St. “It’s unfortunate for an event with the purpose of bringing together people of faith” was almost cancelled, Allouch said.
Bill Lonneman, the Franciscans Network’s advancement coordinator, said the Archdiocese didn’t want the gathering at a school, given the complaints and the 9/11 anniversary. “I think the Archdiocese was just being very cautious,” he said. “It’s a shame the Archdiocese bowed to some pressure from outsiders.” (Apparently a lot more pressure needs to be applied)
MacDougal said the Archdiocese still plans to participate in other events that include Muslims, such as the upcoming community 9/11 anniversary gathering on 3 p.m. Sept. 11 at the Cincinnati Museum Center.(Huge mistake. THIS SHOULD BE PROTESTED TOO)
“I am sorry for any concern or sadness this may have caused, for Christian and Muslim alike,” she wrote in her letter.
