A jury convicted an Iraqi MUSLIM immigrant of second-degree murder Tuesday for running over and killing his daughter with his Jeep Cherokee because he thought she had become ‘too Westernized’ in a case prosecutors called an `honor killing.’

FOX NEWS –Faleh Hassan Almaleki, 50, also was convicted of aggravated assault for injuries suffered by the mother of his daughter’s boyfriend during the October 2009 incident in a suburban Phoenix parking lot.
Prosecutors told jurors during the trial that he mowed down 20-year-old Noor Almaleki with his Jeep Cherokee because she had brought the family dishonor by becoming too Westernized. He wanted Noor Almaleki to act like a traditional Iraq woman, but she refused an arranged marriage, went to college and had a boyfriend.
Defense lawyers called Noor’s death and the severe injuries to Amal Khalaf an accident. They say he only wanted to spit on the older woman, who Almaleki thought helped his daughter stay away from her family. Khalaf had taken Noor in several times after she left home between 2007 and 2009, and that was a cause of increasing friction between the families.

A detective testified that Almaleki acknowledged under questioning by police that he intentionally ran her over. But the transcript of the taped interview showed he repeatedly called the incident an accident. Khalaf also testified during the four-week trial, saying he ignored her screams to stop before he struck her and then ran down Noor.
The defense called no witnesses. They argued for a lesser charge, saying Almaleki made a split-second decision that he should be held accountable for but that he did not intend to kill anyone. Almaleki fled to Mexico and then London, where he was detained and then returned to the U.S.

Sweden’s famous ‘welfare state’ has attracted hordes of Muslim immigrants from third world countries and native Swedes are getting sick of paying their way and getting nothing but soaring rape and crime rates in return for their famous Swedish hospitality.
MSNBC –MALMO, Sweden — The bullet exploded through the mosque’s window, sending glass splinters hurtling into the office worker’s neck. Frantically abandoning their New Year’s Eve chatter and coffee cups, worshippers rushed to the bloodied victim’s aid. The bullet had missed his head by inches; the sniper’s target would survive.
Police allege the shooting at Malmo’s Islamic center — Sweden’s largest mosque — was not random. Investigators say it was one of ten attempted murders and at least one killing perpetrated by a gunman whose objective was to “shoot at immigrants.”
The apparent bid to kill a Muslim in a place of worship provoked much soul-searching in Sweden, long regarded as one of Europe’s most liberal and welcoming societies.
But only nine months later, hundreds of thousands would cast ballots for the far-right Sweden Democrats . The party warned of “the dangers of Islamization” and ran a controversial campaign ad showing a gang of burqa-clad women overtaking a senior citizen in a race for benefits.
The election result grabbed headlines across Europe. “Anti-immigration party formed from skinhead movement seizes balance of power in Sweden” was the take of Britain’s Daily Mail. Germany’s Der Spiegel magazine noted that the showing had “shocked a world so used to viewing Sweden as an open-
doored bastion of tolerance.”
The Sweden Democrats’ success was another sign that a mix of immigration, economic woes and the threat of Islamist extremism has swirled into a perfect storm of problems in Europe. Story: Islamists raise fears of violent ‘clash of cultures’ in Europe
Far-right parties in Austria, Britain, Bulgaria, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway and Switzerland have all made significant gains in recent years.
Some have pushed for caps on immigration. Other measures – such as France’s ban on face veils and Switzerland’s moratorium on minaret construction – have directly affected Muslims.
And the reverberations of radical Islam have been felt widely with security services thwarting many terrorist plots on the continent since 9/11. The invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq and controversy over Muhammad cartoons have made some Muslims feel the West is at war with Islam. (We ARE)
“We can’t deny that today Islam is regarded as the biggest threat to Europe for many Europeans,” said Professor Anne Sofie Roald of Malmo University’s Department of International Migration and Ethnic Relations. “People are perceiving it as a threat because they feel that the minority is growing.”
It’s then that the symbols, such as minarets and veils, become important, she said. ”It always comes back to that people are afraid of Muslims taking over their countries.” An Iraqi-born bomber who blew himself up before he could set off several devices along a busy Stockholm street before Christmas damaged relations further.
However, the Sweden Democrats’ upward trajectory began long before the botched attack. About a decade after its birth, the party earned fewer than 20,000 votes — less than half a percent of the ballots cast — at the 1998 national elections. But under fresh-faced leader Jimmie Akesson, the Sweden Democrats’ enthusiastic support for the cradle-to-grave welfare state — reinforced by a message of nationalistic pride and a vow to dramatically reduce immigration — struck a chord.
In September, the Sweden Democrats captured nearly 340,000 votes (about six percent of the total) and claimed 20 seats in 349-member parliament — helping to prevent any party from being able to govern on its own. They were not invited to join the ruling coalition.
The 31-year-old Akesson and his colleagues received a frosty welcome when they moved into the Riksdag — with other lawmakers refusing to even share a photocopier with them.
At the party’s waterside offices in Stockholm, Akesson told msnbc.com that he believes that his country is under siege due to an “extreme immigration policy.”

urrounded by leftover campaign posters, a Swedish flag and a banner emblazoned with the party’s “Security and Tradition” motto, Akesson says the government should focus its resources on upholding the welfare system.
He alleges that many immigrants live in “parallel societies” – segregated neighborhoods where they speak their native languages and often only socialize with each other. “They will never become a part of the Swedish society,” Akesson said.
An estimated 44 million Muslims live in Europe – about six percent of the continent’s total population — and the figure is expected to grow to 58 million by 2030, according to The Pew Research Center’s Forum on Religion & Public Life.

Mustafa Abdel-Jalil, who has just resigned from his cabinet post in protest at the violent crackdown against anti-government demonstrations, told a Swedish journalist in Libya: ‘I have proof that Gaddafi gave the order to bring down the Pam Am flight over Lockerbie.’
UK DAILY MAIL –Mustafa Abdell-Jalil told Swedish Expressen that Col. Gaddafi gave the order to Abdel Baset al-Megrahi, the only man convicted in the bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie, which killed all 259 people on board and 11 in 1988.
‘To hide it, he (Gaddafi) did everything in his power to get al-Megrahi back from Scotland,’ Abdel-Jalil said. Al-Megrahi was granted a compassionate release from a Scottish prison in August 2009 on the grounds that he was suffering from prostate cancer and would die soon. He is still alive.

The Swedish paper Expressen said its reporter, Kassem Hamade, interviewed the ex-justice minister at ‘a local parliament in a large city in Libya.’The interview is sure to provoke fury on both sides of the Atlantic, and stoke yet more international pressure on the Libyan leader, who is desperately clinging to power after a popular uprising against his dictatorial rule.
Gaddafi has been trying to bring his country out of isolation, announcing in 2003 that he was abandoning his program for weapons of mass destruction and renouncing terrorism. Gaddafi also accepted Libya’s responsibility for the Lockerbie bombing and paid compensation to the victims’ families.
But he has not admitted personally giving the order for the attack. Most of the victims in the Lockerbie bombing were Americans, and al-Megrahi’s (photo at left) release has been criticised by members of the U.S. Congress and the victims’ families.
Bob Monetti, of Cherry Hill, New Jersey, whose 20-year-old son Richard was killed in the bombing, said he’s glad to hear a former official say what’s been clear to him all along. He said officials and the media, especially in the UK, have been denying that. ’Ever since the trial, which was held in a totally obscure
location in Holland and was covered by nobody, there’s been a drumbeat in the UK about how this is a trumped up thing and Libya had nothing to do with it,’ he said.
Earlier this month, extraordinary official documents revealed the last British government did ‘all it could’ to have al-Megrahi returned to Libya. In the U.S., relatives of victims were appalled, with one saying: ‘I’m not sure Britain can sink much lower.’
Ministers were accused of ‘acting like lawyers for the Libyans’ as the unprecedented release of Whitehall papers revealed how the Labour government had a ‘game plan’ and secretly plotted to ‘facilitate’ an appeal by the Libyans over Megrahi. They were determined to seal a BP oil deal and strengthen political ties with Libya, a review headed by Cabinet Secretary Sir Gus O’Donnell found.
Sir Gus’s report highlighted confidential memos and letters that reveal horse trading between London and Edinburgh linking the fate of Megrahi – Britain’s worst mass murderer – to other issues.
Soon after he became prime minister, Gordon Brown wrote to Libyan dictator Colonel Muammar Gaddafi promising to ‘fulfil all the undertakings’ made by his predecessor Tony Blair, which included a prisoner transfer deal, the documents showed. Senior L
abour Cabinet ministers always denied being involved in any backstairs deals over the release in August 2009, yet a secret Foreign Office memo referred to a ‘game plan’ to facilitate Megrahi’s move to Libya.
Sir Gus’s analysis of the papers said: ‘Once Megrahi had been diagnosed with terminal cancer in September 2008, (government) policy was based upon an assessment that UK interests would be damaged if Megrahi were to die in a UK jail.’ Other letters showed Foreign Office minister Bill Rammell met with his Libyan counterpart and wrote to him advising on how to petition authorities in Scotland for Megrahi’s ‘compassionate release’.

Reporting the findings of Sir Gus’s report to the Commons, David Cameron said: ‘Insufficient consideration was given to the most basic question of all. ‘Was it really right for the British government to “facilitate” an appeal by the Libyans to the Scottish government in the case of an individual who was convicted of murdering 270 people, including 43 British citizens and 190 Americans, and 19 other nationalities? ’That is, for me, the biggest lesson of this entire affair. For my part, I repeat – I believe it was profoundly wrong.’

The former Prime Minister quoted from one Foreign Office paper, dated January 2009: ‘We now need to go further and work actively but discreetly to ensure that Megrahi is transferred back to Libya under the PTA [prisoner transfer agreement] or failing that released on compassionate grounds.’
Mr Cameron added: ‘Frankly, this tells us something that was not made clear at the time. ‘It goes further than the account that the former prime minister and the former foreign secretary gave. We weren’t told about facilitating an appeal, about facilitating contact or game plans.’
Former foreign secretary Sir Malcolm Rifkind said it was clear the Labour government ‘was up to its neck in this shoddy business’.

WWII veteran’s grandson’s ‘tears of rage’ as he watched demonstration during two minutes’ silence. Muslims chanted ‘British troops burn in hell’ outside a court today, as two men went on trial for burning poppies on Remembrance Day.
UK DAILY MAIL — (H/T Maria) - Ugly scenes erupted outside Belmarsh Magistrates’ Court, south-east London, as Muslims gathered to support Mohammed Haque and Emdadur Choudhury, who are accused of using ‘threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour’.
Their supporters’ chants of ‘democracy, hypocrisy’ were met with jeers from members of the English Defence League who waved flags of St George and placards of poppies.
The defendants were allegedly part of a group who shouted slogans that British soldiers were rapists
and murderers during a demonstration on November 11 last year. The incident happened during a two-minute silence close to the Royal Albert Hall where the Remembrance Day service is traditionally held.
Haque, 30, of Bethnal Green, and Choudhury, 26, of Spitalfields, pleaded not guilty to the charge under the Public Order Act. Simon Ray, prosecuting, said Haque and Choudhury were part of the Armistice Day demo by the group Muslims Against Crusades in Kensington Gore. He said they were protesting before and throughout the two-minute silence to mark Britain’s war dead.
Shortly after the end of the silence the two men lit large pieces of red and black plastic which were designed to resemble poppies, the court heard. Mr Ray said that both defendants had acted jointly in the burning of the poppies.
‘Muslims Against Crusades had gathered at the corner of Exhibition Road and Kensington Gore and on an opposite corner were members of the English Defence League,’ said Mr Ray. ’The MAC protesters were carrying signs with slogans critical of Britain’s role in Afghanistan and used microphones to voice vehement criticism of the Armed Forces and those who supported them including allegations that British troops were rapists and murderers,’ he said.
‘The right of freedom of speech is very important and the decision to prosecute should not be taken lightly. In this case the actions of these defendants went beyond reasonable protest and the exercise of freedom of speech.
‘The prosecution was brought in order to prevent public disorder and to protect the rights of British people to exercise their right to the two-minute silence.’
A grandson of a Second World War soldier said he felt ‘sick inside’ when witnessing the men’s protest, the magistrates heard. Tony Kibble said tears of anger and rage welled in his eyes as the Muslim group shouted through the two minute’s silence. ‘Half way through, I looked up to see what was going on around and I saw a ball of fire fall to the ground. Literally, my stomach turned over.’ He continued: ‘I felt sick inside. It is something that means so much to me and to see what I believed to be a wreath of poppies fall to the ground – it is just despicable.’
Video footage of the incident was shown in court today. In it, a leader of the MAC can be heard to say ‘the two minutes have started’ before leading a series of anti-British chants.
Around 20 men at the demonstration joined in with shouts of: ‘Burn, burn British soldiers, British soldiers burn in Hell.’ The crowd continued: ‘British soldiers – murderers, British soldiers – rapists, British soldiers – terrorists.’
Knife-wielding MUSLIM goes on stabbing rampage in Ibiza

The Moroccan (Muslim) man sparked panic in the streets of the seaside town of Ibiza after stabbing at least 13 people with a large knife or machete at lunchtime.
UK DAILY MAIL –(H/T Maria) -A knife-wielding Muslim madman went on the rampage in a popular Spanish tourist resort today stabbing at least 13 people. The 42-year-old was arrested after going berserk in San Antonio, on the holiday island of Ibiza.
At least two people were seriously injured in the attack, one of them stabbed in the neck, while several others were treated by paramedics or taken to hospitals. Police would not immediately reveal the nationalities of the victims. (Well we know they weren’t Muslims)
Two armed officers from the Civil Guard police force overpowered the suspect, who was also carrying a metal bar. Local reports said he had a police record for wounding and tried to stab himself in the neck as he was arrested.
The drama began in the Suma supermarket when workers accused him of shoplifting. He is said to have stabbed a number of workers before running out of the store. He then attacked more people in an internet cafe and a hairdressers.

An offshoot of the infamous Muslim Brotherhood, ICNA, one of the largest terror-linked Muslim organizations in North America, is considering plans to build a summer camp on 114 acres of land in the Adirondacks.

NEWSBUSTERS – The Islamic Circle of North America, a Muslim advocacy group based in New York City, hopes to raise money to develop a camp for children and families of all religions on land donated to it last year, Muhammad Rahman, ICNA’s secretary general, said in an interview Thursday… His comments followed a report in The Chronicle, a weekly publication in Glens Falls, that a doctor named Sayeeda Tahera Jafar transferred the deed on the 114.4-acre property to the ICNA last week.
The Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA) is preaching a global Caliphate and Islamic Shari’a law over America to its members, according to the 2010 ICNA Member’s Hand Book. This is a very different message than the group’s public outreach efforts, and contradicts claims that the organization is a tolerant, mainstream Islamic group.
The Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA), based in Queens, New York, is not devoid of controversy in a history that spans over 40 years, yet there is scant mention of these controversies by the media. The Times Union article states that, “U.S. law enforcement agencies have investigated, but never prosecuted, ICNA for terrorist connections.” And there is coverage of a fundraiser involving speakers having made anti-American statements in the past, which is quickly justified by saying, “the meeting raised money for homeless women.”
But the ICNA has so much more to offer in the way of newsworthiness, including an event involving radical cleric Anwar al-Awlaki, as well as a link to the presently relevant Muslim Brotherhood.
Observe…
- In the book, American Jihad, author Steven Emerson claims that the ICNA has praised terror attacks in the past, is allied with militant fundamentalist movements, and supports the imposition of sharia law.
- The same book mentions a statement by Senator Mitch McConnell in 1996 that the group is allied with the Islamic Association for Palestine in North America, which has ties to the terrorist organization, Hamas.
- The ICNA has demonstrated deep ties to the fundamentalist Pakistani political party, Jamaat-e-Islami, whose main objective is the establishment of a pure Islamic state, governed by Sharia law.
- Ran a series of Muslim subway ads in 2008, promoted by a Brooklyn imam whom federal officials had linked to a plot to blow up city landmarks
- Have expressed great reverence for such outstanding individuals as the Ayatollah Khomeini and Mahmoud Ahmadenijad, a man famous for calling the holocaust a ‘myth’, and stating that ‘Israel must be wiped off the map.’
Additionally, radical cleric Anwar al-Awlaki was asked to speak at a convention sponsored jointly by the ICNA and the Muslim American Society (MAS) in July of 2002. Awlaki has been connected with three of the 9/11 hijackers, and has since praised the murderous rampage by the Fort Hood shooter that took 14 lives, and the failed attempt by the Christmas Day bomber to kill 278 innocent people. What’s more, Awlaki spoke alongside Siraj Wahhaj, an unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.
It should be noted that the ICNA released a statement denouncing Awlaki’s views – nearly eight years later – but noting that at the time of his appearance, he had not been accused of any extremist ties, and that he had only started making radical lectures after being detained in 2007.
This is, of course, a flat-out falsehood. In fact, here’s a bit of what was already known regarding Awlaki at the time of his ICNA appearance:
- In 1996, he encouraged a student at his mosque to fight jihad, prompting an elder to confront him, eventually leading to his departure.
- In 1998 and 1999, served as Vice President of a charity founded by Abdul Majeed al-Zindani, an associate of Osama bin Laden and a man designated by the U.S. government as a ‘Specially Designated Global Terrorist’.
- The F.B.I. first took notice of Awlaki in 1999 based on his relationship with militants and his role in running a ‘front organization to funnel money to terrorists’.
- The 9/11 Commission had shown that F.B.I. investigators were divided over Awlaki’s involvement in the terrorist attacks, but had expressed concern over his role as spiritual advisor to two of the hijackers, with one detective saying he believed Awlaki ‘was at the center of the 9/11 story’.
But if you’re looking for a current piece of news regarding the ICNA, then look no further than Egypt. Considered to be the North American branch of the aforementioned Jamaat-e-Islami, the ICNA also maintains close ties to international groups such as the Muslim Brotherhood. The Muslim Brotherhood has objectives far different than the simple establishment of a camp for various religions. Their stated motto:
Allah is our objective; the Prophet is our leader; the Quran is our law; Jihad is our way; dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope.
Or, in the case of today’s media, we can simply watch them build a summer camp without so much as a cursory look at who’s behind the project.

SHEEEEESH! How many more times is Barack Obama going to make our Navy look like idiots? His not wanting to have his fellow Muslims killed makes him reluctant to order the Navy to do whatever they have to do to rescue the hostages.
Russia, S. Korea, and even France had no problem taking out the Muslim pirates who attacked their ships, but not Obama. Once the pirates get the hostages on land in Somalia, their ransom demands go up and/or the hostages are dead.
Washington Times – MOGADISHU, Somalia (AP) — A warship is shadowing a yacht with four Americans on board that was hijacked by Somali pirates, a pirate said Sunday, as the vessel was reported to be moving closer to the Somali coast.
The yacht Quest was hijacked Friday off the coast of Oman but is now in the waters between Yemen and northern Somalia, two pirates and aSomali government official told the Associated Press.
One pirate, who gave his name only as Hassan, said a warship with a helicopter on its deck is near the Quest.
The pirate’s claim could not be independently verified, and U.S. officials on Sunday did not release any information about the yacht. A U.S. Embassy spokesman on Saturday said officials were assessing options and “possible responses.”
Hassan told the AP he is speaking directly with the pirates aboard the hijacked yacht. A second pirate, who gave his name as Bile Hussein, and a Somali official in Puntland who asked not to be named both said the Quest is between Yemen and Somalia and heading closer to Puntland, a haven for pirates on Somalia‘s northern tip.
In New York, the first secretary of Somalia‘s U.N. mission, Omar Jamal, said he had received reports from Somalia that the boat was expected to make landfall late Sunday.
If the Quest reaches Somalia‘s shores, the four American hostages would likely be taken inland, where a fast resolution is much less likely. A British sailing couple who were released in November spent 388 days in pirate captivity.
The Adams have been sailing the world with a yacht full of Bibles since 2004. The hijacking of their yacht came two days after a Somali pirate was sentenced to 33 years in prison by a New York court for the 2009 hijacking of the Maersk Alabama. That case ended when Navy sharpshooters killed two pirates holding the ship’s captain. (But that took 4 days because Obama stalled, not wanting to see his fellow Muslims killed, refused to give the order for the Navy to do what they had to do to rescue the captain. The order NEVER did come down from Obama and the Navy acted on their own because the captain’s life was in danger)
Somali MUSLIM Pirates currently hold 30 ships and more than 700 hostages, not counting the attack against the Quest.

Hamze confronted Congressman West and asked him to point out where in the Quran does it give marching orders to Muslims “to carry out attacks against Americans and innocent people”. West quickly pointed out that the quran was written long before America even existed and that it does indeed tell believers to kill infidels, and then proceeded to chronicle a lengthy list of historical Muslim acts of aggression. Congressman West closed his retort by referencing the Fort Hood shootings and 9-11 attacks, saying that his first hand experiences on the battlefield has given him insight into the tactics that Islamists use before telling Hamze not to “try to blow sunshine up my butt” with his criticism of him. West took offense to Hamze’s amateurish criticism of his stance on radical Islam and concluded by telling Mr. Hamze to “put the microphone down and go home.”

Terrorist Front Group CAIR today called on presidential hopeful Mike Huckabee to apologize for “inaccurate and offensive” comments about Islam and to meet with Muslim leaders to discuss growing Islamophobia in American society. (Hah! Good for the Huckster)
CAIR –The Washington-based Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) made those requests after the Fox News host and possible 
2012 presidential candidate claimed that Muslims believe “Jesus Christ and all the people who follow him are a bunch of infidels who should be essentially obliterated.” (TRUE)
In his recent “Fox and Friends” interview, Huckabee referred to Islam as the “antithesis of the gospel of Christ.” He also seemed to compare Muslim prayer being allowed in a church to the showing of pornographic films. (Actually Islam is a bit like pornography and paedophilia combined)
[IMMEDIATE ACTION REQUESTED]: Contact Mike Huckabee and his producers to ask that he apologize for his remarks and meet with Muslim leaders.

MEDIAITE –Devout Christian Mike Huckabee is having a hard time understanding the concept of charity. The former Arkansas governor and potential 2012 hopeful visited Fox and Friends to discuss a small church that had allowed Muslims to worship when mosques in the area proved too small or were under construction, something he considered shocking and the beginning of a slippery slope: “Should the church be rented out to show adult movies on the weekend?”
Huckabee was clearly incensed with the news that Muslims were worshipping in a church. “As much as I respect the autonomy of each local church, you just wonder, what are they thinking?” he told the Fox and Friends crew. “If the purpose of a church is to push forward the gospel of Jesus Christ, and then you have a muslim group that says that Jesus Christ and all the people that follow him are a bunch of infidels who should be essentially obliterated, I have a hard time understanding that.”
He then goes on to make the argument that the church should not be open to pornographic film screenings, either, to which he is asked directly whether he is “likening Islam to pornography.” “I’m sure bloggers will say that,” he answered coyly. “I’ll read 300 blog accounts that will say that by noon today.” Huckabee concludes his argument by saying that Christian duty “doesn’t mean to give my home or my place of worship to praise something other than Jesus.”
Beyond that shallow blog-bait, he completely ignores the fact that the Judeo-Christian god is an equivalent to Allah and that Muslims actually believe in Jesus Christ. (Yes, and they think Jesus was a Muslim, you idiot) The argument that all Muslims consider non-Muslims to be worthy of destruction is borderline abhorrent at best, also, but the most problematic aspect of Huckabee’s analysis is that he seems not to understand the teachings of the god he so zealously defends.
So yes, “likening Islam to pornography” is offensive, but it is merely a distraction to the deeper meanings of Huckabee’s argument. This stance will win him plenty of allies among those that blindly refuse to understand Islam as a movement separate from radical fundamentalist terrorism, (OMG, the sheer ignorance of this writer is stunning) and those that audibly gasp at the horror of even the mention of pornography, but should anyone actually challenge Huckabee on his religious beliefs– and, politically, no one should; that’s the entire point of the First Amendment– he is going to have to answer to a lot more than his perception of Islam.
