“I was just appalled that school e-mail would be used to send something so hateful,” said one reader shocked at reading that Muslim women were “slaves” who were “hit” by their husbands. It also claimed Muslims were planning an attack on Americans. Happily, the school will NOT discipline the senders of the e-mail.
WPSD With a simple click of the mouse, an e-mail was sent on its way Sept. 16. It went from the high school principal to the elementary school principal, then to an entire school faculty.
“The Muslims are planning a great jihad against America. Arise, be viligent and don’t let it happen,” the woman shared, reading from the e-mail. She read it over and over, each time a new sentence catching her eye like this one: “They have an Army that is willing to shed blood in the name of Islam.”
The Carlisle County School District has anti-discrimination policy. But Superintendent Dr. Keith Shoulders said the e-mail did not violate school policy because the women in question were not the authors and had simply forwarded it.
“The real thing it violates is our technology policy that school e-mail should be used for school work,“ Shoulders said Thursday.
“They’re outstanding people and I know their character. They just did something we have all done at times: got an e-mail, scanned it and sent it on.”
Still he admitted, the email was troubling.”Obviously not every Muslim is a terrorist. That’s an unfair statement.” And that’s why the woman who spoke under the condition of anonimity said it is the educators who need an education in tolerance. ”They just need to be taught.”
No disciplinary action will be taken against the two principals.
The woman we talked to has contacted the ACLU. The group’s William Sharpe confimed they sent an open records request to the district to obtain the e-mail. Superintendent Shoulders said he had received the request. Sharpe told Local 6 the ACLU wants to investigate further before deciding whether to press on with the case.

“The things you can say about Islam you can’t say about any other faith,” Rashad Hussain, the first ever Special Envoy to the UN’s 57 Islamic State Organization of the Islamic Conference, said, “During tough economic times, groups that are seen to be the other … the scapegoating can increase.”
FREEPHussain travels the world on behalf of the U.S. government to improve outreach to the Muslim world. Metro Detroit has a sizeable Muslim population.
Hussain said he’s concerned about the increasing vitriol directed at Muslims, which he said may be due to their increasing visibility (terrorism and islamization) in the U.S. It’s a “reaction to a lot of progress made by Muslim communities,” he said. (Progress? That’s rich)
No sooner than President Obama named 31-year-old lawyer Rashad Hussain to be America’s new envoy to the Organization for the Islamic Conference (OIC), did reports surface indicating Hussain has held harshly critical views of his own country’s treatment of Muslims.
When he was growing up in the U.S, Hussain recalled that many didn’t know too much about Islam. But now, it’s more well known, he said. (And more reviled)
He urged the Muslim-American crowd at the Livonia dinner to form alliances with other groups, noting that LEFT WING Jewish-Americans have been active in fighting for the rights of other groups in American history. (Even their enemies)
One challenge for Muslim-Americans, said Hussain, is that “Muslims are still seen as an aggressor” because of terrorists like Osama bin Laden and the Times Square bomber.
At one point during his talk, Hussain recited in fluent Arabic a verse from the Quran, Islam’s holy book, that says killing one innocent life is like killing all of humanity. (A line stolen from the Jewish holy books and used merely as propganda) He said that there is a consensus of Islamic scholars that terrorism is against their faith, but “we continue to lose people to this ideology” of extremism. A graduate of Yale Law School, Hussain once worked for U.S. Rep. John Conyers (D-Detroit) on the House Judiciary Committee. He is a hafiz, meaning someone who has memorized the Quran.
He had breakfast Saturday morning at the Islamic Center of America in Dearborn before his talk at the dinner by the Institute for Social Policy and Understanding. The Institute is a think tank founded primarily by South Asian Muslims who hope it one day becomes as noted as think tanks like the Brookings Institution. Other speakers during the dinner noted the importance of think tanks in forming policy in the U.S.

Nurhan Solkan, general secretary of the Central Council of Muslims, said: “Personally, it scares me. The PC-derived inhibitions towards voicing your opinion about Muslims are fast breaking down. Nowadays I only need to park my car slightly badly for an old lady to come up to me and shout that I’d better go home to wherever I came from.”
UK GUARDIAN“Every new movement needs a unique selling point,” said Bernd Schöppe, of Pro Cologne. “Ours is the mosque. If ever you needed a sign of the real threat of Islamisation in Germany, it’s that mosque, with its huge dome and 55m-high minarets.” Pro Cologne, a small but growing movement which recently won seats on the city council, hopes to boost its profile by associating itself with the FPO, which made its name a decade ago after sweeping to power under the leadership of the late extreme-right firebrand Jörg Haider.
For the local Turkish community, the sprawling monster complex represents the chance for an entire infrastructure under one roof – from a mosque to a hairdresser’s to a travel agency.
But for others in the city the new mega-mosque and cultural centre has provoked fears that the multimillion-euro project will do little to encourage integration and give the Turks free rein to live in their own autonomous world. The right-wing populist Pro Cologne movement has campaigned against the mosque and moved a step closer to its goal last week after joining forces with Austria’s far-right Freedom party (FPO).
This month the FPO was celebrating another feat, after securing 26% of the vote in the Vienna elections. One of its slogans urged Muslims to “go home”, and among the election paraphernalia it dished out was a computer game where players score points for shooting at mosques and minarets.
“We share similar views,” said Judith Wolter, Pro Cologne’s deputy leader. “It’s a good partnership. They need us to build a rightwing faction on the European stage ahead of the 2014 EU parliamentary elections, we need them to help us win more voters. We’d be happy to adopt their name.”
Her party, she admitted, is working hard to polish its public image, and is fighting through the courts to be removed from the watchlist of Germany’s Office for the Protection of the Constitution, which has the movement under surveillance for its anti-foreigner rhetoric.
The timing of the collaboration could hardly be better. Ever since the release this summer of a polemical book by a former finance senator and central banker arguing that Germany is being “dumbed down” by “over-breeding” foreigners, the country has been gripped by a fierce immigration debate that has seen the chancellor, Angela Merkel, enter the fray. Thilo Sarrazin’s Deutschland Schafft Sich Ab (Germany is Digging its Own Grave) has sold more than a million copies and led to 20% of Germans saying that they would consider voting for a Sarrazin party.
Rightwing populists, meanwhile, have interpreted it as a direct invitation to them to form a new party. Mindful of this, Merkel has been forced into making comments that smack of desperation to claw back disillusioned voters who think she has moved her Christian Democratic Union (CDU) and its sister party, the Christian Socialist Union (CSU), too far to the left; she recently declared that Germany’s attempts at multiculturalism had “utterly failed”. The CSU’s head, Horst Seehofer, also stoked the fire with his call for a halt to immigration from Turkey and Arab nations.
“The anti-immigration utterings of Sarrazin, backed up by the comments by Merkel and Seehofer, are like a gift to the far right. They have had a door opened to them that has previously been closed, because it is now socially acceptable to say things that before nobody dared to voice,” said Alexander Häusler, a social scientist and neo-Nazism expert at Düsseldorf’s University of Applied Sciences.
At present, Germany’s far right lacks unity and cohesion. But according to Häusler they could reverse that situation with the help of the Austrians under the leadership of the charismatic FPO leader Heinz-Christian Strache.
“Austria’s political culture has developed differently from that of Germany’s,” he said, because Germany underwent a postwar denazification process that Austria was largely spared. “You have been able to say things on the Austrian political stage that would not have been acceptable in Germany,” he added.

This is not a war of religions – but rather a clash between a dark culture based on a religion which preaches man’s subservience to God, women’s subservience to man, and non-Muslim’s subservience to Muslims – and a modern, enlightened and equality-oriented culture based on the principle that every person has and takes responsibility for himself and his own.
Islam in Europe A few days ago Pia Kjærsgaard, leader of the Danish People’s Party (DPP), criticized Danish PM Lars Løkke Rasmussen saying that the government’s new plan against the ghetto problem is avoiding the basic problem. When today we have neighborhoods in Denmark where Terrorist supporters of Hizb ut-Tahrir, in an unsightly association with local immigrant gangs, sets the agenda, there are basically two reasons for it.
First, 25 years of failed immigration policy led by the Social Democrats and the Social-Liberal Party (SR coalition). Second, because for years we’ve neglected to inoculate the immigrants who came here with Danish and Western values. In other words, the concrete problems we now meet in the ghettos, are closely linked to neglecting the war of values.
The PM risks inadvertently repeating ten years of failed SR politics if you just try to solve concrete problems without looking at the main reasons for why the problems arose. Calling off the culture war will be fatal. It’s namely the culture war which will lead the ghettos off the path.
It’s certainly not Vietnamese, Chinese, Thai or Chilean youth who drive around the ghettos and make the streets unsafe. It’s not Hindus or Sikhs who demand a ban on alcohol and dogs in Danish neighborhoods. IT’S MUSLIMS.
It’s youth born of Palestinians, Turks, Lebanese, Somalis, Pakistanis, Iraqis and Syrians who dominate the street scene in the troubled neighborhoods, call Danes name, break into the homes of the elderly and handicapped and use their apartments to hold consultations on future criminal activity and on the whole exhibit completely aggressive and misogynist behavior against girls who don’t live up to the criteria which they – often based in Islam – dictate.
If we are to solve the problems with the Muslim ghettos going forward, it’s partially about keeping potential troublemakers out of the country, partially about telling the foreigners and their descendants who are in Denmark who’s in charge. Either you completely back the values which are fundamental to Denmark and the West in general – freedoms, women’s equality, democracy and solidarity – or you should find another place to be.
There must be no place for the fire-breathing Islamists from Hiab ut-Tahrir, and there’s no place either for the shady men of the Islamic Faith Society in Dortheavej or other Islamist fanatics who unfortunately – successfully – try to influence young immigrants to dismiss Danish society for values, the consequence of which has been to bury the Islamic countries in material and spiritual poverty.
The battle of values must be fought in public schools. When textbooks don’t dare show the Muhammad cartoons, or be critical about Islam, when religion teachers say they’re concerned about exposing Islam’s sources to the same criticism as Christianity’s or Judaism’s, it shows that we have a problem. Do the students in public school learn, for example, that the background of the christian Crusades in the Muslim world was the Muslim conquests in Europe? Does the Battle Of Vienna in 1683 mean anything at all to Danish youth? Do you dare teach Turkish youth in Denmark about the Armenian Genocide? And are there still question marks on whether it was Osama bin Laden and his cronies who brought down the World Trade Center towers?
And what with the day-to-day going-ons in public school? Is it respectful to one another when we hear that Danish and foreign girls who don’t dress according to Islam’s regulations are marked as whores? Or when gangs of little brothers also here are set on the pursuit of power and ignore the teacher and students? Or when students of foreign origin speak in their own language and therefore keep out the Danish students?
With Lars Løkke Rasmussen and the government it seems that unfortunately we’re going back to the old familiar groove which says that if you will just adapt, have a job and learn Danish, everything will be good. Regardless of which values you go and collect to yourself.
Sure, our insistence that Western values are far superior to Islamic values will annoy some. So will our insistence on gender equality and on the individual’s right to decide their own religion. Who he or she will marry and the right to think, talk, write and draw whatever you want.
But calling off the battle of values and the devotion to the solution of concrete problems won’t bring the industrial peace which the prime minister is apparently looking for. The solution to the problems go hand in hand. It’s not an easy solution.
There are no easy solutions to the integration of foreigners in Danish society – but the solution stands or falls on whether we are firmly planted in the fundamental values of this society. And they don’t come by themselves – we must fight for them.

Plane carrying Saudi flight students was diverted to North Dakota airport, checked for bombs
Star Tribune A flight from Minneapolis to Grand Forks that was carrying 20 passengers, including three Saudi aviation students new to the U.S., was diverted to Fargo and searched for explosives after the crew mistakenly determined a lavatory smoke detector had been tampered with, authorities said.
Passenger behavior, and not the nationality of passengers on the Sunday flight, was behind the decision to ground the flight, Pinnacle Airlines spokeswoman Amy Howell said Tuesday.
The three students spoke little English and had just arrived in the U.S. from Saudi Arabia to study aviation at the University of North Dakota. They were stopped by Minneapolis airport police for about 20 minutes but allowed to board the flight once their passports and student visas were checked, UND researcher Pablo de Leon, who was on the flight, told the Grand Forks Herald.
De Leon said one of the students used the plane bathroom. ”About 10 or 15 minutes later, I could feel the airplane was decreasing altitude, and the pilot said we should get ready to land,” he said.
The Transportation Security Administration on Sunday said a search for explosives onboard the Bombardier CRJ200 jet that was also carrying three crew members turned up nothing. Passengers were bused the 75 miles to Grand Forks.
The three Saudi students are part of a contract UND signed last month with the Saudi Ministry of the Interior to train pilots, university spokesman Peter Johnson told the Herald.
The students were perplexed by all the commotion Sunday, he said. They plan to take English-as-a-second-language classes before beginning their pilot studies. (Have they learned how to say, “We don’t want to learn how to land?”)
Fifteen of the 19 men who hijacked planes and carried out the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks were from Saudi Arabia. Several of the attackers enrolled in U.S. flight schools.

This is not a new story but the media have suddenly jumped all over it. What they fail to report is that unlike Christians, Jews, as well as other ethnic minorities, Muslims breed like cockroaches.
Times Online The Muslim population in Britain has grown by more than 500,000 to 2.4 million in just four years, according to official research collated for The Times.
The total number of Muslims in Great Britain:
2004: 1,870,000
2005: 2,017,000
2006: 2,142,000
2007: 2,327,000
2008: 2,422,000

The population multiplied 10 times faster than the rest of society, the research by the Office for National Statistics reveals. In the same period the number of Christians in the country fell by more than 2 million.
Experts said that the increase was attributable to immigration, a higher birthrate and conversions to Islam during the period of 2004-2008, when the data was gathered. They said that it also suggested a growing willingness among believers to describe themselves as Muslims because the western reaction to war and terrorism had strengthened their sense of identity.
The Muslim population has risen rapidly in Western Europe in the past 20 years, according to the Pew Forum on Religion & Public Life. From under 10 million in 1990, it’s gone up to about 17 million today, the think tank said in a report last month.
Muslim leaders have welcomed the growing population of their communities as academics highlighted the implications for British society, integration and government resources.
David Coleman, Professor of Demography at Oxford University, said: “The implications are very substantial. Some of the Muslim population are the least socially and economically integrated 
of any in the United Kingdom … and the one most associated with political dissatisfaction.
Muslims would naturally reap collective benefits from the increase in population. “In the growth of any population … [its] voice is regarded as being stronger in terms of formulating policy, not least because we live in a democracy where most people in most religious groups and most racial groups have votes. That necessarily means their opinions have to be taken and attention to be paid to them.”
Muhammad Abdul Bari, general secretary of the Muslim Council of Britain, predicted that the number of mosques in Britain would multiply from the present 1,600 in line with the rising Islamic population. He said the greater platform that Muslims would command in the future should not be perceived as a threat to the rest of society. (HAH!)

Stuff about the mystery 'bomb' packages out of Yemen you're not likely to hear from the liberal media

CBN’s Eric Stakelbeck spoke with an intelligence source who was on the flight from Yemen to Dubai yesterday, around the time the explosives were found.
CBN1) The source noticed several things which seemed strange or outright alarming at Sana’a International (El Rahaba) airport in Yemen. For one, according to my source, pre-teen boys were pulling bags out of x-ray machines and essentially acting as porters, complete with uniforms. And you thought TSA had problems.
2) The source noticed a good deal of large bags, “30 or 40 of them,” being brought by adult porters to the personal baggage terminal, rather than to the cargo terminal, which seemed odd. Given the conditions my source described, it obviously isn’t very hard to imagine a suspicious package making its way onto a plane flying out of Yemen.
It also isn’t difficult to imagine that Al Qaeda may have sympathizers or operatives actually working at the airport who would help facilitate getting explosives onto flights.
3) Virtually all of the women on the Yemen-to-Dubai flight, not surprisingly, wore Islamic clothing that covered their faces. They were not asked to remove these face coverings as they moved through security. That can be problematic, to say the least.
4) The intelligence source told me that Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, which is based in Yemen and spearheaded this plot, is growing in size and influence–with thousands of indigenous new fighters, particularly from south Yemen, lining up to join the cause.

A UK Graduate student, Dr Hadil Bakir, who alleges she was branded ‘a bloody Arab’ by her PhD lecturer, Dr Rumaisa Bashir (pictured) at Durham University, is suing the university for $320,000.
UK DAILY MAILDr Hadil Bakir claims she was verbally and physically abused by her supervisor while studying at the 
university’s world-leading department of human molecular genetics. The mother-of-one, originally from Iraq, said Dr Rumaisa Bashir subjected her to a campaign of harassment which led to her developing bulimia, a stomach ulcer and depression.
(Now here’s the rub) A claim form lodged with the court said: ‘During this period, Dr Bashir regularly used the phrase ‘bloody Arabs’. Dr Bashir is of Pakistani origin. The claimant is from Iraq.’
She is suing the university on the grounds that senior staff failed to protect her from the alleged bullying of Dr Bashir, a global expert in the adult onset of muscular dystrophy who has also worked at Newcastle University.
Dr Bakir, of Durham, said she had been unable to work due to her ill-health since completing her PhD in September 2006.
Durham University has denied the claims made during a hearing at Newcastle County Court. The court heard problems began for the overseas student soon after she began her studies in October 2002.
She was dubbed a ‘cry baby’ and ‘international troublemaker’ after being told to ditch her original thesis title and take over the work previously done by another student, the court heard. From that point on she suffered a campaign of abuse at the hands of Dr Bashir, who used foul language towards her and belittled her work, she claimed.
She said she was also physically abused by Dr Bashir, who is alleged to have shoved past her, trodden on her toes, and banged a fridge door against her head. H/T Lee S

‘The mouse didn’t take any notice of the leopard, just went straight over to the meat and started feeding himself. ‘But the leopard was pretty surprised – she bent down and sniffed the mouse and flinched a bit like she was scared.
‘In the meantime the mouse just carried on eating like nothing had happened…..but even a gentle shove does not deter the little creature from getting his fill. ‘It was amazing, even the keeper who had thrown the meat into the enclosure was shocked – he said he’d never seen anything like it before.’
Project owner Jackie James added: ‘It was so funny to see - Sheena batted the mouse a couple of times to try to get it away from her food. ’But the determined little thing took no notice and just carried on.’
The mouse continued to eat the leopard’s lunch and show the leopard who was the boss. Just proves no one can push you around without your permission.
The extraordinary scene was captured by photography student Casey Gutteridge at the Santago Rare Leopard Project in Hertfordshire.
Sheena the leoparf was brought in to the Santago Rare Leopard Project from a UK zoo when she was just four months old. She is one of 14 big cats in the private collection started by Jackie ‘s late husband Peter in 1989.
The African Leopard can be found in the continent’s forests, grasslands, savannas, and rainforests.
