Police Commissioner Ray Kelly said investigators have six of Enright’s notebooks, which chronicle his recent 35-day stay in Afghanistan where he was filming a friend in the Marines. The notes DO NOT include any anti-Muslim rhetoric.

I still think that the Muslim cabbie’s stated opposition to the Ground Zero mosque was what set off the pro-mosque  slasher.

NY DAILY NEWS Michael Enright, he college student who stabbed a cabbie after finding out he was Muslim, has been moved to Bellevue Hospital’s psychiatric ward.

His victim, Ahmed Sharif, who emigrated from Bangladesh 25 years ago, was recovering at home yesterday, as supporters said they hoped to set up a fund to support his family while he recovers from his horrific injuries.

“He’s in a lot of pain, lost a lot of blood and suffered tremendous trauma,” said Bhairavi Desai of the New York Taxi Workers Alliance. “I don’t think he will be able to go back to work for maybe a month or longer, he’s in pretty bad shape.” (That’s funny, he was out doing photo ops  for the media with Bloomberg  the very next day)

Enright’s notes do not include anti-Muslim rhetoric, but he does write about having a drinking problem and being a member of AA.

(So will this stop Terrorist Front Group CAIR and the liberal media from blaming the attack on ‘Islamophobia?’ Nooooooooo!)

Guess who wrote Obama's Cairo speech?

Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, the same imam who is trying put his Victory mosque at Ground Zero and whose goal is “to establish an American-style Islam in the U.S.”

The Shoebat Foundation has obtained shocking audio of Ground Zero mosque project chief Feisal Abdul Rauf, in his own voice, boasting in Arabic that Pres. Obama’s historic speech in Cairo was provided by the Imam’s work with the Cordova Initiative. Rauf cites the inclusion of what he calls “The Blue Print,” which, according to him, was the solution to the Islamic-American divide.

Rauf claimed that Chapter 6 of the his work, engineered by the Cordova Initiative, was the construct for the entire speech. “This is an example of the impact of our work in a positive way to be used by the President.”

DEMOCRATIC Governor of Illinois comes out AGAINST the Ground Zero Victory Mosque

And Muslims are offended. AGAIN! Muslims are offended by everything infidels do. So who cares?

Earlier this week, Gov. Pat Quinn stepped into the controversy, saying he was against the mosque being built near the site of the 9/11 terror attack.

It was a stance Quinn repeated Friday afternoon, when he said, “I do understand going to Pearl Harbor, and I have been there; going to Auschwitz, I’ve been there; and I’ve been to Ground Zero. And I think those are solemn places on Earth; I’ve said that this week. I do think there should be a zone of solemnity around those places.”

Muslim leaders in Chicago were surprised by Quinn’s comments this week. ”We were definitely stunned,” said Ahmed Rehab, executive director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations. “When I read this for the first time, I was like ‘What? Did I read what I just read?’ I couldn’t believe it.“.. Christina Abraham, of CAIR, believes Quinn’s stand will cost him votes in November. (Who cares, it will gain him a lot more Republican votes)

Imam Abdullah Salem arrived at the Madera Islamic Center on Tuesday to find a pair of menacing signs, including one that read “Wake up America, the enemy is here.”

It was the latest in a series of incidents that the Madera County Sheriff’s Department is investigating as hate crimes. On Sunday, a brick nearly smashed a window at the center on Road 26 just outside Madera. Last week, another sign left on the property read “No temple for the god of terrorism.”

Signs left at the mosque claimed to be from a group called the “American Nationalist Brotherhood.” Sheriff’s officials said they hadn’t heard of such an organization.

Some local Muslims worry that talk radio hosts who have repeatedly invited callers to express their anger about the controversy surrounding a proposed Islamic center near the site of the 9/11 terrorist attacks in New York City are fanning flames of intolerance — and putting their families in danger. (That’s right, give the Muslim-in-Chief yet another reason to shut down talk radio)

“It’s hate talk on the radio,” said Dr. Mohammad Ashraf, a Madera cardiologist who is Muslim. “It’s everywhere — not only in Madera. [It's in] San Diego, Kentucky, Tennessee.” (Get used to it, people are starting to hate Muslim now more than ever before)

“Sound bites are so easy to spew out, and the truth doesn’t bring in higher ratings,” Ghazvini said in an e-mail. “I believe that these unfounded attacks are dangerous and irresponsible. Radio talk show hosts across this country and locally live to insult Muslims and rile people against them.”

Two local talk-radio hosts, however, deny that they are promoting intolerance. ”The audience is pretty much whipped into a frenzy,” acknowledged radio personality Ray Appleton, who hosts a lunch-hour show on KMJ (AM 580). “I’ve done my best to hold the rhetoric down.”

Appleton said he has worked to keep his callers on subject — which he said is a “lack of sensitivity” in building the Islamic center near Ground Zero in New York. He said he tries to redirect callers who attack Islam — or cut them off.

Former Fresno Mayor Alan Autry, who hosts a morning radio show on KYNO (AM 940) that has spent considerable time on the New York Islamic center, also put the blame on his callers. Addressing the Madera mosque incidents, he said “knuckleheads do things like that. They don’t need to be stirred up.”

The attacks at the Madera Islamic Center come during the month of Ramadan — the faith’s most holy time. Salem said that made the incidents especially worrisome.

The center’s approximately 150 families are not angry, he said. “But they are worried about the safety of the children and the ladies.”

During Ramadan, it is important for believers to pray throughout the day, the evening and at night. That makes it more likely that women and children will be at the mosques late.

Ashraf said the center plans to hire security and increase video surveillance. Salem stayed at the center all night Tuesday after he found the most recent signs.

Salem said the recent vandalism at the Madera mosque is greater than anything else seen in its 15-year history — including the days after 9/11. DAILY ME

Well, his name IS Omar!

NY POST A drunk barged into a Queens mosque last night and urinated on prayer rugs, cops and witnesses said.

Evening prayers were disrupted at the Iman Mosque on Steinway Street in Astoria when the unhinged man “came in with a beer bottle in his hands, clearly very intoxicated,” said Mustapha Sadouki, who was attending services.

“He fumbled over to our rugs where people were praying” and then committed the despicable desecration, Sadouki said,

The man, identified as Omar Rivera, had allegedly been drinking for five days, a police source said — and when found by worshipers, told them: “My sister’s dead.”

He then stumbled out onto the sidewalk, where he was grabbed by two members of the mosque who called 911 and held him until cops arrived, the source said. Cops took him to a hospital and later charged him with criminal trespass. ”He stuck up his middle finger and cursed at everyone,” said Sadouki, 43.

“No one can pray now because the rugs are completely soiled. It was disgusting.”
