A Muslim who spray-painted a war memorial with graffiti glorifying Osama Bin Laden and proclaiming ‘Islam will dominate the world,’ as well as threatening to kill the Prime Minister, walked free after the court ruled his actions were not motivated by religious hatred.
SHEEEESH! EVERYTHING Muslims do is motivated by their death cult/religion.
Tohseef Shah, 21, could have faced a tougher sentence if the court had accepted that the insults - which included a threat to kill the Prime Minister - were inspired by religious hatred. But - citing a loophole in the law - the Crown Prosecution Service chose not to charge him with that offence and he escaped with only a two-year conditional discharge and an order to pay the council £500 compensation after admitting causing criminal damage.

Yesterday the decision was attacked by politicians and veterans who were shocked by the desecration of the memorial in Burton-upon-Trent, Staffordshire.
Conservative MP Patrick Mercer, chairman of the Parliamentary Counter Terrorism sub-committee, said: ‘This is an outrage against our war dead.’
Shah sprayed the words ‘Islam will dominate the world - Osama is on his way’ and ‘Kill Gordon Brown’ on the plinth of the memorial in December.
He was arrested after his DNA was found on the discarded spray-can but refused to give an explanation for his actions or show any remorse, a court heard. A file was sent to lawyers at the Counter Terrorism Division of the CPS in London to see if there was a racially or religiously motivated connotation.
However when Shah appeared before magistrates this week, prosecutor Andrew Bodger said: ‘It was decided there was not enough evidence to prove this, and they decided it was politically motivated.’
Defending, Mumtaz Chaudry said Shah did not hold extremist views. ‘This is nothing to do with his religious beliefs, his family’s beliefs or his cultural beliefs,’ he said. ‘He is just an ordinary guy. (Yes, and I’m the Princess of Wales)
‘He is remorseful, but at the time of his interview he was simply answering questions and didn’t realise that was the right time to show remorse.’
Local veterans reacted with horror last night. Roy Whenman, 78, who fought in the Korean War, said: ‘If what he wrote on the memorial wasn’t evidence of racial or religious hatred then what is? ‘The memorial commemorates people of my generation who died for our freedom as well as those fighting in wars today. ’It’s diabolical that someone could deface it in this way.’
He lives with his parents in a £200,000 detached house and works at his father’s car spares shop. Last night, he refused to discuss the case. Instead he appointed Abdullah Ibn Abbas, who described himself as spiritual leader of a group called Road to Jannah, to speak on his behalf.
He said: ‘It really doesn’t concern us how the British people feel about the graffiti he wrote - the real outrage should be about the thousands of Muslims who are being killed and butchered as a result of British foreign policy.’ (That’s right, but it should be millions, not thousands)
The CPS said Shah’s offence could not be charged as a hate crime because the law requires that damage must target a particular religious or racial group.

Obama is preparing to impose his own (pro-Arab, anti-Israel) solution if there is no peace agreement by the fall.
Both the Congress and Senate sent letters to Obama demanding that he stop his strong-arm tactics on our only ally in the Middle East. Obama is out of control and must be stopped.
Israeli officials told Ha’aretz on Thursday that US President Barack Obama recently assured European leaders that if the Israeli-Palestinian peace process is not moving forward by September or October, he will convene an international peace summit.
The purpose of convening an international peace summit could only be to impose a peace settlement on the two sides, and if Obama’s policies of late are anything to judge by, that peace settlement would greatly favor the Arabs by incorporating nearly all their demands.
Palestinian officials this week also said they had received assurances from US Middle East envoy George Mitchell that if Israel did not start complying with US-backed Arab demands soon, Obama would act to force Jerusalem’s hand.
The Palestinians are also threatening to unilaterally declare independence by October if Israel does not start meeting their demands. Israeli officials fear the UN would recognize such a declaration, and that the Obama Administration would do little or nothing to block it.
Recent history has demonstrated that such reports, which are often leaked as a pressure tactic against Israel, actually further delay peace negotiations as the Palestinians are all too happy to remain defiant and wait on the international community to strong-arm Israel.
The US and Europe remain mum on the fact that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has repeatedly said he is ready to immediately restart direct bilateral negotiations, while the Palestinians refuse to sit with the Israelis and discuss anything. ISRAEL TODAY
OBAMA BURNING!

Israelis residing in Jerusalem’s Shmuel HaNavi neighborhood threw posters bearing the image of US President Barack Obama into dozens of piles of wood and other flammable materials they intend to burn as part of the Lag B’Omer celebrations. Noam Federman, one of the activists behind the initiative to burn pictures of Obama in the traditional bonfires, said “These photos (of Obama) will be placed in hundreds of bonfires in protest against the anti-Semitic acts of Barack Hussein Obama.” YNET NEWS
It’s understandable why Israelis feel like this. However, despite Obama’s pandering, bowing, and outreach to enemies and reluctant Muslim allies in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Indonesia, and China, he hasn’t won many hearts and minds there either.

You probably heard that the incident was no big deal in the mainstream Obamamedia. Debka, my favorite Israeli intelligence media outlet, tells a different story: U.S. Gulf Naval Units are forbidden from firing on an enemy plane without permission of the Obama Regime.
The US Fifth Fleet and US aircraft carrier USS Eisenhower in the Gulf of Oman were not allowed to shoot at an Iranian Fokker F27 aircraft which on April 21 hovered for 20 minutes 900 meters over the carrier and no more than 250 meters away, even though they saw its flight crew gathering intelligence on the Eisenhower and its warship escorts.

DEBKA-Net-Weekly’s military sources report that the US Persian Gulf command went public on the incident on April 28, a whole week later, only after Gulf military circles, amazed at the American naval and air units’ passivity in the face of hostile surveillance, threatened to break the story to local media.
This striking restraint indicates that the US Gulf and Arabian fleets are under orders to take no action – certainly not to open fire – against Iranian naval or air units, with first obtaining permission directly from Washington.

Military, naval and aviation sources told DEBKA-Net-Weekly that the Iranian spy plane was 10 second away from flying directly over the Eisenhower and could easily have been shot down. To try and explain this incident away, US naval sources Wednesday, April 28, claimed the Iranian plane was unarmed and its encounter with the US carrier was not of a threatening nature, although irregular.
Admiral Gary Roughead, Chief of Naval Operations, tried to play down the importance of the incident by saying: “The Iranians (pilots) were not provocative or threatening. As long as they are professional and not threatening or reckless, it’s international space.” But officials of the Gulf emirate navies think otherwise. They say it was the first time that an Iranian spy plane ventured so close to an American aircraft carrier and the US non-response will encourage Tehran to go for bolder and more provocative actions.
Of late, Saudi Arabia and the Gulf states, especially Oman and the United Arab Emirates, have become extra-sensitive of late to the raised US response threshold to threatening moves by Iran, after witnessing the sinking of a South Korean warship and the handling of the case by Washington.
This was taken in Gulf capitals to show the Obama administration was ready to lean backwards to avoid military action against North Korea - even on the part of the injured party,South Korea. They see a close correlation between the provocative tactics employed byPyongyang and Tehran, whose nuclear and missile programs are likewise coordinated. These Gulf sources, talking to DEBKAfile, wondered out loud if the United States would also turn a blind eye to an Iranian attack that cause the sinking of a Saudi, UAE or Israeli ship sailing in the Gulf. Talya Lador-Fresher said that her speech was repeatedly disrupted by demonstrators hoisting Palestinian flags or yelling anti-Israel slogans. And when she tried to leave the premises, she found the exit blocked by angry protestors.
Fearing for the envoy’s safety, embassy security and Manchester police evacuated her through a side exit and into an police getaway car, but that too was attacked. Lador-Fresher said the demonstrators attempted to smash the windows of the police vehicle, apparently intent on doing her physical harm.
Lador-Fresher said that despite the severity of the incident, she intends to continue speaking on UK campuses, since being cowed by the attacks would only play into the hands of Israel’s enemies.
There were no reports of arrests following Wednesday’s attacks, which further demonstrated the violent anti-Israel atmosphere that is growing in the UK. ISRAEL TODAY

Now that Iran has withdrawn its candidacy for the U.N. Commission on Human Rights, the Islamic country that is among the most violent against women, now wants to be on the U.N. Commission for the protection of women’s rights.
The news was greeted with relief by governments and activists that opposed the nomination of the regime, but also with some hilarity at the idea of its wanting to assume the role of a defender of women.

The United Nations this week elected Iran to its Commission on the Status of Women, handing a four-year seat on the influential human rights body to a theocratic state in which stoning is enshrined in law and lashings are required for women judged “immodest.” Buried 2,000 words deep in a U.N.press release distributed Wednesday on the filling of “vacancies in subsidiary bodies,” was the stark announcement: Iran, along with representatives from 10 other nations, was “elected by acclamation,” meaning that no open vote was requested or required by any member states — including the United States. The U.S. currently holds one of the 45 seats on the body, a position set to expire in 2012. The U.S. Mission to the U.N. did not return requests for comment on whether it actively opposed elevating Iran to the women’s commission. History of torture and abuse of women in Iranian prisons Iranian foreign ministry spokesman Mehmanparast Ramin, , said the decision to withdraw from the Council for Human Rights was taken jointly with other Asian countries, thus presenting a single candidate. According to a western diplomat quoted by Reuters, Tehran backed down when it became clear it could not secure enough votes to get a seat.
The Council for Human Rights has 47 countries and has its headquarters in Geneva. Tehran is under fire from the international community for its systematic violation of fundamental human freedoms. American UN mission spokesman, Mark Kornblau, expressed satisfaction: “It ‘a step in the right direction for the Council. The presence of countries like China and Saudi Arabia in it, has contributed over the years to discredit the image of the UN body. 
The Islamic Republic had tried to join the Council in 2006. But its candidacy failed as a result of pressure from the United States. 
However in a move that smacks of provocation, Iran has put itself forward as a candidate for the Commission to protect the rights of women. The mullahs’ regime is one of the toughest in the world towards women, who live in a state of semi-segregation. The are daily arrests and violence against women who are not “adequately covered” or who act in “a non Islamic way”. At Friday prayers April 16 last, the mullah of Tehran Sadigo Kazem said that women who do not wear the hijab are responsible for the spread of adultery and “increase the risk of earthquakes. The Cartoonists Shall Enter First

“Nobody kills the village idiot,” said filmmaker Theo Van Gogh before an Islamic militant shot and stabbed him to death. As Van Gogh learned too late, the world of Islam will kill the village idiot once he becomes the last public figure who tells the truth about it.
Lenin called liberals in the West who make excuses for totalitarianism “useful idiots,” and they still exist in great numbers, having transferred their sympathy from Communist totalitarianism to Islamic totalitarianism. Only a few raffish village idiots like Van Gogh and Trey Parker haven’t joined this cowardly cavalcade.
It is a frightening measure of the West’s unseriousness about encroaching Islam that the only unvarnished critique of it as irrational and dangerous comes not from philosophers and politicians but from cartoonists and eccentrics. This explains why Islam fears the West’s village idiots far more than its useful ones; why it sues a Brigitte Bardot and suppresses a South Park skit; why it pins a note on Van Gogh’s corpse saying: “I know for sure that you, O America, are going to meet with disaster. I know for sure that you, O Europe, are going to meet with disaster. I know for sure that you, O Holland, are going to meet with disaster.”
The useful idiots got the message. They shed few tears for Van Gogh, dismissing him as a bloated and sated anti-Islam provocateur who had it coming. Without any irony, a magazine called the Index on Censorship eulogized him sourly as a “free-speech fundamentalist” and dangerous blowhard for having produced a documentary about Islam’s mistreatment of women called Submission. The rubbish and rancidity in Van Gogh’s previous work hadn’t bothered them very much. But his final gasp of truth-telling about Islam certainly did.
Now the useful idiots, who normally cast themselves as fight-to-the-death Voltairean liberals, turn on Trey Parker and Matt Stone of South Park for a mild poke at Islam, even though they had chuckled previously at and profited off their parodies of other religions. This cartoon controversy recalls the Danish one, when the Western media simultaneously shielded viewers from a relatively innocuous drawing of Mohammed in an obscure journal (CNN “has chosen to not show the cartoons in respect for Islam,” its prim disclaimer ran) while rolling out enthusiastic coverage of The Da Vinci Code. Why not? the media figured. Christians simply don’t riot.

Islam’s useful idiots in the West are like the “People of the Pact,” except they give up rights in their own lands. The historic “People of the Pact” were Westerners who surrendered freedoms while residing in Muslim countries. They agreed to pipe down about anything important in order to live and trade there without harassment. Today, the “capitulations” take place at home and without the firing of a single shot, except an Islamic one into the belly of a village idiot or two.

OBAMA HAS LOST HIS HARD ON

The Obama administration is pressing Congress to provide an exemption from Iran sanctions to companies based in “cooperating countries,” a move that likely would exempt Chinese and Russian concerns from penalties meant to discourage investment in Iran.
The Comprehensive Iran Sanctions, Accountability, and Divestment Act is in a House-Senate conference committee and is expected to reach President Obama’s desk by Memorial Day.
“It’s incredible the administration is asking for exemptions, under the table and winking and nodding, before the legislation is signed into law,” Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, Florida Republican and a conference committee member, said in an interview. A White House official confirmed Wednesday that the administration was pushing the conference committee to adopt the exemption of “cooperating countries” in the legislation.
Neither the House nor Senate version of the bill includes a “cooperating countries” provision even though the administration asked the leading sponsors of the Senate version of the bill nearly six months ago to include one.
The legislation, aimed at companies that sell Iran gasoline or equipment to refine petroleum, would impose penalties on such companies, up to the potentially crippling act of cutting off the company entirely from the American economy. It also would close a loophole in earlier Iran sanctions by barring foreign-owned subsidiaries of U.S. companies from doing business in Iran’s energy sector.
“We’re pushing for a ‘cooperating-countries’ exemption,” the White House official said. “It is not targeted to any country in particular, but would be based on objective criteria and made in full consultation with the Congress.” Mrs. Ros-Lehtinen, however, said the exemption “is aimed at China and Russia specifically.” ”The administration wants to give a pass to countries for merely supporting a watered-down, almost do-nothing U.N. resolution,” she said.
The “cooperating countries” language that the White House is pressing would allow the executive branch to designate countries as cooperating with the overall strategy to pressure Iran economically.
According to three congressional staffers familiar with the White House proposal, once a country is on that list, the administration wouldn’t even have to identify companies from that country as selling gasoline or aiding Iran’s refinement industry. Even if, as current law allows, the administration can waive the penalties on named companies for various reasons, the “cooperating countries” language would deprive the sanctions of their “name-and-shame” power, the staffers said.
The prospect that China and Chinese firms would be exempt from penalty follows reports that Beijing is cooperating with Iran’s missile program. On April 23, Jane’s Defense Weekly reported that China broke ground on a plant in Iran this month that will build the Nasr-1 anti-ship missile.
Mark Dubowitz, executive director of the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies, where he directs the group’s Iran energy project, said the “‘cooperating-country’ status would send a signal to the energy sector that the Obama administration is not serious about penalizing those companies that continue to do business with the Iranian energy sector, the lifeblood of the men who rule Iran.”
Keith Weissman, a former Iran specialist for the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, said he did not think the current refined-petroleum sanctions would be effective. ”Of all the sanctions I have been around, this is one of the dumber ones,” Mr. Weissman said. “We have been talking about this for so long, the Iranians are ready for this. Not only are they building the capacity for refining the fuel, they will have more capacity to purchase it from regional countries.” WASHINGTON TIMES

CBN News recently spoke with former terrorist Noman Benotman in an extensive interview about the inner workings of Al-Qaeda’s leadership. These days, Benotman lives a quiet life in London with his wife and children. But it wasn’t long ago that Benotman stood face-to-face with Osama bin Laden.
Just one year before 9/11, Benotman joined some 200 of his fellow jihadist leaders from around the world for as meeting in Kandahar, Afghanistan. They were summoned there to discuss strategy with bin Laden and his top deputy, al-Zawahiri. The two al Qaeda leaders were planning to attack the U.S. homeland – and based on previous weak American responses to acts of terror, they weren’t concerned with the repercussions.

Make no mistake, I don’t care if he was 15 years old when he murdered a U.S. soldier, he should hang for it. But why aren’t the worst of the terrorists tried this way? Oh, that’s right, the 9/11 terrorists can put America on the witness stand.
Omar Khadr, known as the ‘Child Soldier of Guantanamo Bay’, is accused of killing a US soldier and receiving training from al-Qaeda. Transferred to the detention camp in Cuba in 2002, aged 15, he is to be the first detainee tried under the Obama military commission. If convicted, he could be sentenced to life in prison. But his defence lawyers are trying to prove that none of the evidence in the case can be used because it was tainted. (“Tainted” because he was subjected to sleep deprivation?Awwww, poor baby)

Per our last update on the meeting with Dr. Register by representatives from Islamic Center of Nashville, Salahadeen Center, Masjid Al-Farooq and Masjid Al-Islam, an official committee has been formed to act as a liason and educational resource for Muslim families and Metro Nashville Public Schools to meet the needs fo students while maintaining their Islamic identity. Prayer Accommodations at School
For your children’s interest, accommodations for students taking a few minutes to catch their Dhuhr prayer are available. Please contact your child’s appropriate teacher of that particular period via email (emails can be found on metro’s website, www.mnps.org) and copy your school’s guidance counselor. Your child can also personally request the teacher as well. Letters for prayer arrangements during Ramadan (along with PE and lunch alternatives such as the library) have already been sent to all the schools. Public schools and universities across the country are considering Muslim students’ requests for religious accommodations, including 
separate rooms where fasting students can go during lunch; places for students to perform daily prayers; the consideration of requests to make Eid al-Fitr, the holiday that ends Ramadan, a school holiday; and the installation of footbaths in restrooms to make it easier for students to follow prayer rituals.
Here are some of the more recent controversies involving religious accommodations of Muslims and other groups in public schools from the elementary to the university level:
- The San Diego Unified School District is under scrutiny after allowing Muslim students at Carver Elementary School 15 minutes a day for prayer. A teacher claimed the students were led in prayer by a school aide, a violation of U.S. Department of Education guidelines. The school is now being monitored by religious and civil rights groups. - The University of Michigan-Dearborn is steeped in controversy after a decision to use $25,000 in student fees to install footbaths in campus restrooms. The footbaths are seen as an accommodation for Muslim students, who must wash their feet and hands before prayer. The Minneapolis Community and Technical College was bombarded with hate mail when it, too, announced plans to install footbaths. (See an Aug. 29, 2007, Washington Times story.)
- In September the New York City-based Stop the Madrassa coalition announced the launch of a national organization,Citizens for American Values in Public Education. The group’s news release says it will “expand the fight nationwide to stop the imposition of radical Islamist agendas in curricula, Arabic language programs, history classes, textbooks, teacher training, and charter schools,” which the group considers unconstitutional religious accommodation. It says the organization will begin distributing a publication called “Stop the Madrassa: A Citizens Guide to Islamist Curricula in Public Schools” nationally.
- The opening of public schools that cater to Muslim groups has raised questions about religious accommodation and whether public funds should support schools with religious focuses. In New York, the newly opened Khalil Gibran International Academy emphasizes Arabic.
- At the forefront of the push for religious accommodation in public universities is the Muslim Students Association, which has formed a Muslim Accommodations Task Force to push for footbaths and prayer rooms. At least 17 universities have footbaths built or under construction, including Boston University, George Washington University and Temple University, and nine universities have prayer rooms designated exclusively for Muslim students, including Stanford University, Emory University and the University of Virginia.
- In New York City, Muslim groups are seeking the recognition of two Muslim holidays as school holidays. (Read a May 16, 2007, Norwood News article posted by New York State Assemblyman Ruben Diaz Jr.) Also in New York, in February the U.S. Supreme Court refused to review an appeals court decision that allows New York City public schools to display a menorah during Hanukkah and a star and crescent during Ramadan, while banning a crèche at Christmastime. - There is a growing movement among Muslims to have Eid al-Fitr, the festival which marks the end of Ramadan, recognized as a public school holiday.
- When a Cincinnati-area school set aside a room for Muslim students during lunch periods for Ramadan, a local school board official accused the school of being overly accommodating. Every Friday now, the U.S. Capitol is turned into a mosque

The Congressional Muslim Staffers (CMSA) (read previous posts here), and their leader Jihad. Well, he chose the name Jihad it always seems to be abbreviated to J. when the media is around. Folks – this is the United States Capitol Building – historic and symbolic – adorned atop by the Statue of Freedom. Not only has the building become a mosque every Friday, but check out all the dhimmi’s in attendance as if they were in a Muslim country.
Big tent? Actually a not-so-big tent. At last check, the group does not accept infidels. It’s a big ummah tent that includes the terrorist-affiliated Muslim Brotherhood’s North American outlets – according to Jihad’s CMSA website:
