All but one HAMAS Terrorist has been removed from U.S. TERROR BLACKLIST which opens the floodgates of funding for HAMAS.
The United States Treasury aka BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA, MUSLIM-IN-CHIEF, has taken all but one member of Hamas off the international list of terrorists, thus enabling funds from the European Union to enter Hamas-controlled Gaza.
It is an open secret that large sums of money from the EU flow into Gaza in the guise of humanitarian aid and salaries for officials, but are actually funneled into the coffers of Hamas, which controls Gaza with an iron grip.

This method of transferring funds into terrorists’ hands could have been blocked by an international lawsuit, but according to journalist Avi Tarango, the United States Treasury has made this impossible by removing all but one Hamas man – Deputy Chairman of the Political Bureau, Musa Abu Marzouk – from the list of international terrorists.
There is something deeply ironicabout this change, because both the United States and the EU make a great deal of fuss about their efforts to prevent the financing of terrorist activity, both through financial regulation and the gathering and analysis of financial intelligence. But deciding that Hamas should no longer be called ‘terrorist’ no more changes that organisation’s ideology and strategic aims than the decision of the Obama administration to call the ‘Global War on Terrorism’ by the new politically correct term of ‘Overseas Contigency Operations’ means anything more than a spineless refusal to call a spade a spade. Hamas will continue to be a terrorist organisation until it actually stops importing weaponry, both by sea and through the tunnels under Gaza’s border with Egypt, actively prevents the firing of rockets and mortar bombs at Israeli civilian targets, and returns the kidnapped soldier Gilad Shalit, who remains in captivity in complete contravention of international law.
Perhaps most ironic of all, I very strongly suspect that one set of banks will be ignoring the US Treasury’s policy reversal: the banks under the control of the Palestinian Authority, which justifiably sees itself as threatened by Hamas, and which — perhaps to some readers’ surprise — actually takes the sanctions regime against Hamas (and its even more extremist partners in Gaza) seriously.
CAIR is an unindicted co-conspirator in FBI case against Holyland Foundation which finances terrorism. I guess the case will be dropped now.
The updated terrorist list, published last week, takes up 443 pages. However, according to Tarango, who went over the list, none of the tens of thousands of people who form Hamas is mentioned – other than Abu Marzuk, who resides in Damascus. The terrorist list is meant for distribution in the world banking system, where the transfer of funds to anyone on the list is prohibited.
“Musa Abu-Marzouk’s presence on the list means that whoever tries to transfer money to him personally will be rejected by the world banking system and be accused of funding terrorism, but the transfer of funds to any other Hamas man will not arouse suspicion,” he explained.
According to published reports and other sources, the journalist said, the EU sends millions of Euros every month to cover the salaries of 77,000 employees of the Palestinian Authority and about 70,000 recipients of welfare aid in Gaza.
“EU laws define Hamas as a terror organization and therefore the EU people need to verify on a name-by-name basis that none of the people receiving salaries and support is a terrorist,” Tarango said. “This is done by the EU’s cash transfer mechanism, PEGASE, which verifies that none of the recipients of salaries are members of Hamas’s police force or activists of the military wing of Hamas, by comparing the names as received from the PA treasury department with the list of international terror activists. However, since the newly-updated list contains no Hamas officials except for Marzouk, the European check will find nothing and the funds for Gaza salaries will be transferred in whole to the Gaza banks.” ISRAEL NATIONAL NEWS

Amid a rising tide of Islamophobia in Europe, a former finance senator in Germany has been strongly criticized for his racist (Since when is Islam a race?), anti-Islam comments.
Thilo Sarrazin, former Berlin finance senator and currently a member of the German Central Bank committee called for a headscarf ban in German schools. His comments come only four months after the official let loose against “Arabs” and “Turks” living in Germany in an interview with the culture magazine Lettre International. “A large number of Arabs and Turks in 
this city, whose number has grown through bad policies, have no productive function other than as fruit and vegetable vendors,” he had said.
In his controversial remarks, Sarrazin also alluded to a new plan proposed by the country’s Immigration Commission, which would oblige foreigners seeking to live in Germany to sign “integration contracts” to respect Western values.
“I don’t need to respect anyone who lives off the state, denies the state, doesn’t do anything to educate their kids, and just produces more headscarf girls,” Thilo Sarrazin had said.
Following his disparaging remarks, the senior official has faced strong criticism, with many calling on him to quit. On Sunday, Claudia Roth, leader of the German (LEFT WING) Green Party lambasted the executive board member, demanding his immediate resignation.
Islam is the third largest religion in Germany, but the European country has often been accused of hostility towards the faith. (As well it should)

Attaining the ability to enrich uranium up to 20 percent grade brings Iran dangerously close to “break-out” point for a nuclear weapon capability. President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad promised the “good news” would be announced during the Feb. 1-11 celebrations of the Islamic Revolution. The “news” also prompted an urgent cabinet meeting in Jerusalem last week.
Ahmadinejad’s announcement is a provocative demonstration of contempt for the six world powers and their offer to trade Iran’s low-grade uranium for 20 pc enriched product overseas. By going public on the banned process and abandoning concealment, Iran’s rulers are throwing down the gauntlet to them and Israel.
DEBKAfile‘s Iranian sources report that the hawks of the Islamic regime led by Ahmadinejad and spiritual ruler Ayatollah Ali Khamenei have won the day for their tactics of jumping ahead of any possible US-led or Israel steps against their nuclear program with its own aggressive initiatives.
The Iranian president’s enrichment announcement at a time that the Obama administration is pondering tough sanctions against the Revolutionary Guards was part of this policy; so were the Syrian and Hizballah declarations of military preparedness for a purported Israeli attack last week, taking advantage of an IDF war game to raise the alarm.
Our political sources predict that Tehran’s provocative move will be met with more of the five months of foot-dragging with which Washington and Jerusalem have met Iran’s contempt for one deadline after another for ending nuclear enrichment.
Both will continue to dither and pretend that stiff sanctions can scotch the Iranian nuclear threat. Tehran has meanwhile made good use of those five months to go forward and achieve a 20 pc enrichment capability.
The only straight talk from any Western leader has come from French president Nicolas Sarkozy. Saturday, Jan. 23, he told visiting Lebanese prime minister Saad Hariri that France has evidence Iran is developing nuclear weapons contrary to its claims. Now that another fundamentalist sect, Tablighi Jamaat, has shelved proposals for a 12,000-seat “megamosque” in the shadow of the Olympic Park, the nationwide Dawatul Islam group, which has links with the militant Islamist Jamaat e Islami movement in Bangladesh, has lodged the proposals for an 11-storey, boys-only boarding school and Muslim community centre in east London with the local council.
It will cost £27million and involves the demolition of an historic Victorian schoolhouse it bought for £377,000 in 1998. The £1million-a-year charity was awarded £32,000 of Government “Preventing Violent Extremism” cash last year, despite the controversial views of its vice-president, Hasan Mueenuddin.
He has described Britain’s ban on Egyptian cleric Dr al-Qaradawi, who defends suicide bombers, as “deplorable.” He called Dr al-Qaradawi “one of the most progressive thinking Muslim scholars of the 21st century.”

Mr Mueenuddin, who is senior member of the Muslim Council of Britain, invited Dr al-Qaradawi to speak at a Metropolitan Police-sponsored conference he helped organise at Wembley Arena in 2004. But the cleric, who has called for the destruction of the state of Israel and has said husbands can beat “disobedient” wives, was eventually forced to withdraw after objections from Scotland Yard. The same year, Dr al-Qaradawi said suicide attacks on Israelis were “martyrdom in the name of God”, adding that it did not matter if women and children were killed. He was banned from Britain two years ago after a successful campaign by Conservative leader David Cameron.
If approved by Tower Hamlets Council in March, the new building would replace a smaller madrassa and create a 300-student private secondary school, prayer rooms and a community centre.
Conservative MP Paul Goodman, a former Shadow communities minister, said: “Enlarging mosques or madrassas often makes a lot of sense. However, big new Islamic institutions which give cover to extremism and which may have a negative impact on older, established local mosques or madrassas are obviously unwelcome.” UK EXPRESS

Nicolas Sarkozy bows down to Islam as he does a U-Turn on burka ban out of fear of terrorist reprisals.
Why am I not surprised? France is set to perform a U-turn on its pledge to ban the burqa because of threats including ‘terrorist reprisals’ and legal challenges from the EU.
Despite President Nicolas Sarkozy’s assertion that Islamic veils were ‘not welcome’, MPs are to recommend today that they are barred only from public transport and civic buildings such as schools and hospitals. They would be permitted in private buildings or on the street.
MPs already indicated that there are a range of dangers associated with a full ban – including terrorism or a challenge by the European Court of Human Rights. (Oh, and I guess the threat of terrorism from bombers in burkas is not a cause for concern?)
There was also fear that it could lead to international condemnation, after the outcry given to Switzerland after a referendum there last year backed a ban on any more minarets being built in the country.
Communist MP (Islamists’ best friend) Andre Gerin, head of a parliamentary panel which has spent six months examining the controversial issue, said a full ban could inflame tensions within France’s five million-strong Islamic community, the largest in western Europe.
Last year Al Qaeda vowed revenge on France if it banned the burqa on its streets. Islamic leaders have warned that a law banning veils in the streets could stigmatise Muslims and drive some to extremism. Left-wing politicians also fear a total ban could face a challenge in the European Court of Human Rights.
President Sarkozy has called Islamic face veils ‘a sign of debasement that imprison women’. According to the Interior Ministry, about 2,000 women in France wear full Muslim dress in public.
Earlier this month Xavier Bertrand, the head of Mr Sarkozy’s governing UMP Party, said women who wear burkas or niqabs should not be allowed French citizenship. He said: ‘The full veil is simply a prison for women who wear it and will make no one believe a woman wearing it wants to integrate.’
In 2004 France passed a law forbidding students and staff from wearing veils and other religious symbols in schools as part of a drive to defend the secular Fifth Republic. UK DAILY MAIL

YNET: A pro-Israel rally in Malmo, Sweden was torn apart Sunday by pro-Palestinian residents who arrived on the scene with eggs, bottles, and tear gas grenades which they threw at Israel’s supporters. Police dispersed the entire crowd. Seven hundred people took part in the rally in support of Israel, which was held at the city’s main square. It was organized by Malmo’s Jewish community and Sweden’s Democratic Party.

Meier added that the lawless protesters disconnected the speakers brought to the square by the Jewish community while its leader was speaking. The act brought the pro-Israel rally to an end, as others could not speak.

Swedish businessman Patrik Brinkmann has announced he will pour €5 million into the coffers of Pro NRW, an anti-Islam populist party based in Cologne. In a report to air Sunday night on Germany’s public broadcaster WDR, Brinkmann says he fears Germany is becoming “too foreign” and that Sharialaw will be introduced in the country.

GERMANY: Blonde schoolgirls attacked for NOT wearing Muslim headscarves

One Muslim baghead tried to set fire to the hair of another blond student.
The victims are mostly Polish. About 80% of the 500 students in the school are of foreign (mostly Muslim) origin. School officials are very concerned.Rita Herrmanns of the Berlin school authority says that fundamentalist tendencies have been taking over in Berlin schools as well in recent years. Increasingly, more girls wear headscarves, more Muslim parents forbid their daughters from participating in class trips, swimming and sex-ed classes.
Principal Volker Steffens who sees the consequences on the front lines says that Islamist tendencies and direct racist attacks by girls are striking.
The victims are blond Polish girls since they’re Catholic and yet very liberal, and therefore embody everything that the headscarf-girls reject. Steffens says the reason for the conflict is often envy. The girls are banned from many things in their own strict religious upbringing at home, but in school they see other girls who are allowed more. They get jealous and want to beat up the children from more liberal families.

Anti-terror officials said the past week had seen an “unusually high” number of people on their no-fly list trying to board US-bound planes.
Two men were stopped boarding US-bound planes at Heathrow days before Britain’s terror threat was raised to “severe”. News of the incidents came hours after Home Secretary Alan Johnson lifted the threat level amid fears that al-Qaeda is planning an attack. The new level, which means an attack is reckoned “highly likely”, is second only to “critical”.
Security sources say an Egyptian was stopped last Saturday as he tried to board an American Airlines flight to Miami. A man from Saudi Arabia was banned from boarding a United Airlines flight to Chicago the next day and sent back to Saudi. An Ethiopian Airlines passenger airplane crashed into the Mediterranean Sea after shortly taking off from Beirut Airport. Witnesses reportedly saw the plane on fire. At least 85 people were on board.
REUTERS - An Ethiopian Airlines plane with 85 passengers and 5 crew on board crashed into the Mediterranean sea shortly after taking off from Beirut international airport in the early hours of Monday, airport sources said. The plane, said to be a Boeing 737 by one source, disappeared off the radar some five minutes after takeoff.
About 50 passengers were Lebanese nationals, most of the others were Ethiopians, the sources said. There were thought to be seven crew members. The plane took off shortly after its scheduled time of 3:10 a.m. (0010 GMT), flying south-west, the sources said.
Ethiopian Airlines’ website shows it has a flight from Beirut to the Ethiopian capital of Addis Ababa around that time, operating a Boeing 737. The airline could not immediately be reached for comment.
According to one source, residents on the coast saw a plane on fire crashing.
Senior Lebanese officials headed to Rafik Hariri International Airport after news of the crash. The plane had flown in from Addis Ababa earlier in the night, the sources said. FRANCE.24
Of course, ABC NEWS is quick to say, The cause was not immediately known. But police ruled out terrorism and said the crash was likely weather-related. Beirut has seen heavy rain and lightning since Sunday.
UPDATE: The plane exploded in a fireball before it crashed into the sea. Sure sounds like a “weather incident” to me.

US President Barack Obama’s special Mideast envoy George Mitchell has left Israel after a series of meetings in Jerusalem and Ramallah, and sources in the Palestinian Authority said Sunday afternoon that the Palestinian leadership is not ruling out the possibility that a peace agreement will not be reached during President Mahmoud Abbas’ term
PM Benjamin Netanyahu has expressed his hope that the Palestinians will show an interest in the peace process, but the sources noted that the Palestinians were deeply disappointed with the lack of American pressure on Israel, which is turning the peace process into “a corpse which cannot be revived in the nature of talks held up to the past few days.”
The sources added that the Fatah movement has made a strategic decision not to change its stand on the West Bank settlements and the nature of the negotiations. “The Palestinian street backs our stand that we must not return to the negotiation table based on the Israeli conditions, while there is no serious solution in the horizon.”

The Palestinians also accused Israel of bringing about the collapse of the outline formed recently with the conditions presented by the Jewish state. The sources noted that the Americans have begun looking into a possibility of another interim agreement.
A senior Palestinian official told Ynet that “resuming the negotiations will only be possible with a clear American letter of guarantees referring to a state within the 1967 borders with Jerusalem as its capital and to a solution of all other issues included in the permanent agreement.”
According to the source, the Palestinians are unfazed by Netanyahu’s remarks that the Palestinians have gone too far with their demands. “This is not a matter of going too far. We don’t think that the settlement issue is going too far,” he said. ”We are beginning to understand that without minimal American pressure, this will not happen soon and perhaps not even in the coming years.” (Americans already tried MAXIMAL pressure, how about if Israel just wipes them out? Is the Royal Navy soooo busy that they can't try to rescue one elderly couple from some ragtag Somali Muslim pirates?

Somali pirates yesterday threatened a fight to the death that would endanger a hostage British couple if British forces attempt to rescue their captives. “We die first before they get freed,” said one of the pirates, contacted by satellite telephone. Paul and Rachel Chandler, from Tunbridge Wells, Kent, were captured on October 23.
The pirates’ new threat follows reports that an operation mounted by the Special Boat Service to rescue the couple was “bungled” before it could reach them because of technical problems.
“If anyone interrupts our negotiations to get the payment of a ($7 milliom) ransom, it will be a risk for them [the Chandlers],” said “Gelle”, one of the pirates guarding the couple. “So we advise that no one interrupts our current good discussions.”
In the only comment that held some hope for the Chandlers, Gelle said that they had lowered their demand from $7m to $2m “or whatever price that we agree”. It was a clear signal that the pirates are open to offers. Last week a Greek tanker, Maran Centaurus, was released for a reported $5.5m to $7m.
Gelle said that his group had spoken yesterday and on Friday with one of five brokers supposedly involved in negotiating a ransom. He said he believed the brokers were negotiating with “close relatives of our hostages, or other people trusted on behalf of them.” As well as the Chandlers, pirates are holding 11 ships, including the British-flagged chemical tanker St James Park which was seized on December 28. JERUSALEM POST reported on 1/21 that Hamas has accepted Israel’s right to exist and would be prepared to nullify its charter, which calls for the destruction of Israel, Aziz Dwaik, Hamas’s most senior representative in the West Bank, said on Wednesday. Dwaik’s remarks are seen in the context of Hamas’s attempts to win recognition from the international community.
ISRAEL TODAY A newspaper report last week stated that ruling Palestinian terrorist organization Hamas had offered to recognize Israel’s right to exist in return for a sovereign Palestinian state in Judea, Samaria and the Gaza Strip. The report confused many by suggesting that Hamas had suddenly dropped its long-held goal of destroying Israel, thereby opening the door for peace, if only Israel would offer more concessions.
HAMAS says, “The Qur’an calls for extermination of all Jews in the 21st Century.”
The faulty report appeared in the Jerusalem Post, which quoted British tycoon David Abrahams as carrying a positive message following his meeting with Dr. Aziz Dwaik, Hamas’ senior representative in Judea and Samaria and speaker of the Palestinian Legislative Council.
According to remarks attributed to Abrahams, Dwaik said Hamas was ready to accept Israel’s right to exist and abolish its hostile charter.
