American anti-war movement launches fourth protest in ‘Stolen Beauty’ campaign against Dead Sea company that produces cosmetics in Mitzpe Shalem settlement from what they call ‘stolen Palestinian natural resources in occupied territories’
WASHINGTON: Dozens of women in bikinis protested Wednesday near Washington cosmetics stores against the purchase of Ahava beauty products, that are produced in the Israeli settlement of Mitzpe Shalem in the West Bank. (The leader of this group, Medea Benjamin, 2nd from right, is a self-hating liberal Jew herself)
The protest was initiated by the American Code Pink anti-war movement, and the demonstrators’ bodies were streaked with mud, some featuring the words “Ahava is a dirty business”.
Code Pink alleges that the Israeli cosmetics company that promises to share the “beauty secrets from the Dead Sea” is also “hiding the ugly truth—its products actually come from stolen Palestinian natural resources in the occupied territory of the Palestinian West Bank, and are produced in the illegal settlement of Mitzpe Shalem.” (No land in Israel is illegal, it all belongs to the Jews)
The movement launched its “Stolen Beauty” boycott campaign against international company, which exports to 25 countries around the world, last month.”We are here to tell Ahava, which claims to be devoted to beauty and purity, that you cannot cover up occupation and violation of international law,” said Paris Marron, CODEPINK’s national online organizer. “We call on Ahava to come clean.” Rae Abileah, a member of the movement who took part in the protest, said they are leading an international campaign against the company’s products, in protest of their production in the “occupied Palestinian territory”.
The demonstrators were able to shut down the Ahava store in the hotel for an entire day, which prompted them to push forward with the campaign in the United States. (The bitches should be locked up with the terrorists in Gitmo and tortured) In the past month, the women also demonstrated at Tel Aviv’s centennial celebrations in Central Park in New York City, as well as outside a cosmetics conference held in Los Vegas two weeks ago.
She said they had entered cosmetics stores and handed the managers letters with factual information on Ahava’s 
production process, and demanded they stop selling these products, since it is against the Geneva Convention. (This is one broad whose beheading would be welcome all around the world )
Abileah added that it is immoral and unethical to purchase or distribute products that carry such a very heavy price tag and make their profit from the occupation. It was meant to be a solemn religious ceremony in a cemetery where countless Islamic revolutionaries and martyrs are buried.Iranian police fired tear gas and used batons to disperse thousands of anti-government protesters holding a memorial Thursday in a Tehran cemetery for victims of post-election violence, according to witnesses and state television.
Instead the security forces turned Tehran’s Behesht e-Zahra burial ground into a battlefield today, attacking hundreds of 
mourners with batons and tear gas and driving opposition leaders away before they could even offer their prayers.
The occasion was the end of the 40-day mourning period for Neda Soltan, the student who became an icon of the opposition movement when she was killed in one of the huge protests that followed President Ahmadinejad’s hotly disputed re-election. Tyres and rubbish skips burned on the pavements. The air reaked of tear gas. There were reports of gunfire. President Barack Obama warned that “more mistakes would occur” if Congress continued to politicize terrorist detention policy and the closure of Guantanamo Bay. “[I]f we refuse to deal with those issues today,” he predicted, “then I guarantee you, they will be an albatross around our efforts to combat terrorism in the future.”
On June 17, at the Administrative Maximum (ADX) penitentiary in Florence, Colo., one of those albatrosses, inmate number 24079-038, began his day with a whole new range of possibilities. Eight days earlier, the U.S. Attorney’s office in Denver filed notice in federal court that the Special Administrative Measures (SAMs) which applied to that prisoner—Richard C. Reid, a.k.a. the “Shoe Bomber”—were being allowed to expire. SAMs are security directives, renewable yearly, issued by the attorney general when “there is a substantial risk that a prisoner’s communications, correspondence or contacts with persons could result in death or serious bodily injury” to others.
Reid was arrested in 2001 for attempting to blow up American Airlines Flight 63 from Paris to Miami with 197 passengers and crew on board. Why had Attorney General Eric Holder decided not to renew his security measures, kept in place since 2002?According to court documents filed in a 2007 civil lawsuit against the government, Reid claimed that SAMs violated his First Amendment right of free speech and free exercise of religion. In a hand-written complaint, he asserted that he was being illegally prevented from performing daily “group prayers in a manner prescribed by my religion.” Yet the list of Reid’s potential fellow congregants at ADX Florence reads like a Who’s Who of al Qaeda’s most dangerous members.In December 2008, the Department of Justice filed a motion to dismiss Reid’s lawsuit. On July 6, 2009, Justice Department lawyers informed the court that Reid will be given a “new placement” in a “post-SAMs setting.” What drove the Obama 
administration’s decision to cave in to Reid’s demands? In order to appease political constituencies both here and abroad, the Obama administration is moving full steam ahead, operating on the false premise that giving more civil liberties to religious fanatics bent on destroying Western civilization will make a difference in the Muslim world. Multiple head traumas IGNORED by government health ‘experts’ leads to soldier’s suicide.
Nearly three years after surviving the last of a series of explosions in Iraq, Retired Army Reserve Lt. Col. Raymond Trejo Rivas, 53, of New Braunfels, Texas, was buried at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. Rivas committed suicide after struggling with multiple traumatic brain injuries (TBI) that had been repeatedly misdiagnosed.
Rivas was sent back to the battlefield after each bomb blast until doctors realized that his brain was slowly being destroyed. After a 2006 mortar blast during a tour of duty in Iraq, he was sent home for good. At Walter Reed Medical Center, the full extent of his brain injuries seemed to elude doctors.
Rivas couldn’t do simple things like get dressed and feed himself. In written testimony to Congress, Rivas said even when he was sent to Brooke Army Medical Center he was pretty much on his own for two to three months. When the military finally assigned a case worker, Rivas received massive amounts of therapy. Although he seemed to be improving, he was found dead in his car on April 15th, of an apparent suicide. Talk about refusing to learn from history, UK Foreign Secretary actually believes there is “moderate’ Taliban.
As the deadliest month for coalition forces in Afghanistan nears an end, and amid signs of dropping public support in Britain for the war, the British government is prodding the Afghan government to court “moderate” elements among the Taliban. “We will not force the Taliban to surrender just through force of arms and overwhelming might,” he said. “Nor will we convert them to our point of view through force of argument and ideological conviction.”
“In effect Miliband is saying that Britain and the United States must be willing to place cooperative, supposedly more reasonable wings of the Taliban back in local power in Afghanistan,” Heritage Foundation scholar Nile Gardiner argued on the Daily Telegraph Web site Tuesday, saying that was akin to “putting the Nazis back in office after the fall of Berlin.”
Gardiner said coalition troops were not dying in Afghanistan “to facilitate the return of a medieval-style government steeped in barbarism where women are treated as fourth-class citizens and individual liberty is non-existent. It would be only a matter of time before an Afghanistan dominated by ‘moderate’ Taliban returned to its old position as a safe haven for al-Qaeda to launch attacks against New York, Washington or London.” CNS NEWS

SCOTLAND YARD DROPS BAN on officers wearing ‘Support the Troops’ badges

Scotland Yard today caved in and lifted a ban against officers wearing Union Flag badges in support of British troops.
Met Chiefs had decreed that the tiny emblems – which cost £1 with proceeds going to charity – must be removed after a complaint that they are offensive. (ONLY OFFENSIVE TO 
MUSLIMS) But furious junior officers continued to wear them in defiance of the ban and a petition was launched on the Downing Street website demanding it be lifted.The badges are sold to raise funds for the Royal British Legion and the Help for Heroes charity.
The row started last month when 200 officers at Heathrow Airport were banned from wearing them because they were in breach of the Met’s strict dress code. Peter Smyth, chairman of the Metropolitan Police Federation, had branded the decision ‘nothing less than shameful’. Mr Smyth said: ‘From what I can gather, someone (MUSLIM) may have complained that the Union Flag is offensive. I find that hard to believe. We take the oath to serve the Queen and these badges are for a charitable cause.’ Met Chief Sir Paul Stephenson stepped in to calm the row. He ruled officers should be allowed to show their support for soldiers fighting for our country and that the rules should be relaxed.
‘The Met has a dress code policy which states that only approved corporate badging may be used. However, on this occasion, the Commissioner has decided to intervene in terms of officers wearing Union Jack badges,’ a spokesman said.
Mr Smyth said senior officers routinely turn a blind eye to constables wearing gay pride ribbons when they go on marches.

Israel is up in arms over a declaration by a British government spokesman that the UK is funding political activity in Israel. British spokesman Martin Day said in an interview in Dubai with Al-Arabiya television last week that the British government was “taking practical steps towards freezing settlement activities.”
HOW THE UK REPORTS ISRAELI ELECTIONS
“For instance,” Day said, “we finance projects aimed at halting settlement activities. One of these projects seeks to build new 
Palestinian neighborhoods in east Jerusalem and save Palestinian houses from demolition. In addition, Day said in an Arabic interview, “we also finance organizations that monitor settlement activities.”
He further stated that “products from the settlements do not enjoy preferential custom duties that we offer to products coming from Israel. In light of this, we can say that we are taking effective and practical steps against settlement activities.”
Karen Kaufman, the British Embassy’s spokesman in Tel Aviv, said in response that 
the British government was “not involved in the actual construction of new Palestinian neighborhoods in East Jerusalem.” (Not yet, anyway)
“The UK is spending £450,000 over 4 years to support projects in east Jerusalem and the West Bank that help Palestinians better understand and effectively use the Israeli planning laws to gain permission both retrospectively for existing homes, and prospectively for new homes on their side of the Green Line,” she said.
Yossi Levy, the ministry’s spokesman for the Hebrew press, characterized Day’s comments as the “height of chutzpah,” and said such activity was “unheard of.” Foreign Ministry spokesman Yigal Palmor said, “We can’t recall any other case of a democratic country funding political activities inside another democratic country.”
Additionally, he said, this makes no sense from their point of view because any political activities they are backing will lose credibility in the eyes of the Israeli public when it is revealed that these activities are funded by a foreign government.
“How would the British feel if another country funded political activities of groups within the UK?” he asked. JERUSALEM POST
Don’t feel bad, Israel, Britain is even more anti-Christian than they are anti-Jewish. Pretty soon the practice of Christianity will be a criminal offense in the UK. In some ways, it already is.
But you can act as queer and perverted as you want in public and straight people have to embrace you. You can call for the overthrow of the government and demand Shari’a Law replace British Law, and you cannot be arrested.

A father, his two sons and four other men living in North Carolina are accused of military-style training at home and plotting “violent jihad” abroad, federal authorities said.
Officials said Monday the men were led by Daniel Patrick Boyd, a married 39-year-old who lived in an unassuming lakeside home in a rural area south of Raleigh, where he and his family walked their dog and operated a drywall business.
But court records indicate Boyd was a veteran of terrorist training camps in Pakistan and Afghanistan who fought against the Soviet Union. ”These charges hammer home the point that terrorists and their supporters are not confined to the remote regions of some far-away land but can grow and fester right here at home,” U.S. Attorney George E.B. Holding said.
The seven men made their first court appearances in Raleigh on Monday, charged with providing material support to terrorism. If convicted, they could face life in prison.
The indictment said Boyd, a U.S. citizen, trained in Afghanistan and fought there between 1989 and 1992 before returning to the United States. Court documents charged that Boyd, also known as ‘Saifullah,’ encouraged others to engage in jihad.
Boyd’s MUSLIM faith was so brash that, this year, he stopped attending worship services in the Raleigh area and instead began meeting for Friday prayers in his home.”These people had broken away because their local mosque did not follow their vision of being a good Muslim.”
In 1991, Boyd and his brother were convicted of bank robbery in Pakistan — accused of carrying identification showing they belonged to the radical Afghan guerrilla group, Hezb-e-Islami, or Party of Islam. They were each sentenced to have a foot and a hand cut off for the robbery, but the sentenced was later overturned.
The wives of the men told The Associated Press in an interview at the time they were glad the truth about their husbands had finally become known. The wives said the couples had U.S. roots but the United States was a country of “kafirs” — Arabic for heathens.
Two of the suspects are Boyd’s sons: Zakariya Boyd, 20 and Dylan Boyd, 22. The others are Anes Subasic, 33; Mohammad Omar Aly Hassan, 22; and Ziyad Yaghi, 21. Hysen Sherifi, 24, a native of Kosovo and a U.S. legal permanent also was charged in the case. He was the only person arrested who was not a U.S. citizen.
The suspects face charges of providing material support to terrorism and “conspiracy to murder, kidnap, maim and injure persons abroad.” FOX NEWS H/T FRANKLY OPINIONATED
