Now In Florida, critics of the Obamanation and the Religion of ‘Peace’ cannot have their opinions suppressed.
From Brigitte Gabriel Act for America, Adam Hasner, the Florida House Majority Leader reports that Florida’s version of “Rachel’s Law” had just passed. In a conference call a week earlier Rep. Hasner pointed out that ACT! for America chapter leaders and members in Florida played an active part in reaching out to legislators in the Florida House on this legislation.
As Rep. Hasner noted so eloquently: “This bill protects Floridians from having their right to free speech suppressed by those with radical ideologies. Foreign courts that do not place the same value on our constitutionally guaranteed freedom of speech will no longer be used to intimidate Florida citizens.”
You may recall that “Rachel’s Law” was originally passed in New York about a year ago. It protects authors and publishers from intimidation lawsuits filed in foreign countries, and was dubbed “Rachel’s Law” because of a lawsuit filed BY THE SAUDI GOVERNMENT against Rachel Ehrenfeld who wrote the book Funding Evil. Our worst nightmare – hate crimes legislation. This will undo us. The line in the sand is free speech. And this is an attack on free speech. Clearly the clergy hates it, because they will prosecute priests for preaching against homosexuality, but they will not prosecute imams for inciting jihad and Islamic Jew hatred.

US Congressman John Conyers reintroduced the same bill that passed in 2007. The bill was passed in less than one hour before any opposition could be mounted. It was eventually vetoed by President Bush. President Obama has expressed his support of hate crime legislation and is expected to sign the bill if passed.
ISLAMObama is considering other bills that will give him control over the internet too.

In September 2006, a 14-year-old schoolgirl, Codie Stott, asked a teacher if she could sit with another group to do a science project as all the girls with her spoke only Urdu. The teacher’s first response, according to Stott, was to scream at her: “It’s racist, you’re going to get done by the police!” Upset and 
terrified, the schoolgirl went outside to calm down. The teacher called the police and a few days later, presumably after officialdom had thought the matter over, she was arrested and taken to a police station, where she was fingerprinted and photographed. According to her mother, she was placed in a bare cell for 3 1/2 hours. She was questioned on suspicion of committing a racial 
public order offence and then released without charge. The school was said to be investigating what further action to take, not against the teacher, but against Stott. Headmaster Anthony Edkins reportedly said: “An allegation of a serious nature was made concerning a racially motivated remark. We aim to ensure a caring and tolerant attitude towards pupils of all ethnic backgrounds and will not stand for racism in any form.”

(CNSNews.com) – The Central Intelligence Agency told CNSNews.com today that it stands by the assertion made in a May 30, 2005 Justice Department memo that the use of “enhanced techniques” of interrogation on al Qaeda leader Khalid Sheik Mohammed (KSM) — including the use of waterboarding — caused KSM to reveal information that allowed the U.S. government to thwart a planned attack on Los Angeles.
Before he was waterboarded, when KSM was asked about planned attacks on the United States, he ominously told his CIA interrogators, “Soon, you will know.”
According to the previously classified May 30, 2005 Justice Department memo that was released by President Barack Obama last week, the thwarted attack — which KSM called the “Second Wave”– planned “ ‘to use East Asian operatives to crash a hijacked airliner into’ a building in Los Angeles.”
KSM was the mastermind of the first “hijacked-airliner” attacks on the United States, which struck the World Trade Center in New York and the Pentagon in Northern Virginia on Sept. 11, 2001.
After KSM was captured by the United States, he was not initially cooperative with CIA interrogators. Nor was another top al Qaeda leader named Zubaydah. KSM, Zubaydah, and a third terrorist named Nashiri were the only three persons ever subjected to waterboarding by the CIA. (Additional terrorist detainees were subjected to other “enhanced techniques” that included slapping, sleep deprivation, dietary limitations, and temporary confinement to small spaces — but not to water-boarding.)

This was because the CIA imposed very tight restrictions on the use of waterboarding. “The ‘waterboard,’ which is the most intense of the CIA interrogation techniques, is subject to additional limits,” explained the May 30, 2005 Justice Department memo. “It may be used on a High Value Detainee only if the CIA has ‘credible intelligence that a terrorist attack is imminent’; ‘substantial and credible indicators that the subject has actionable intelligence that can prevent, disrupt or deny this attack’; and ‘[o]ther interrogation methods have failed to elicit this information within the perceived time limit for preventing the attack.’”
“In particular, the CIA believes that it would have been unable to obtain critical information from numerous detainees, including KSM and Abu Zubaydah, without these enhanced techniques,” says the Justice Department memo. “Both KSM and Zubaydah had ‘expressed their belief that the general US population was ‘weak,’ lacked resilience, and would be unable to ‘do what was necessary’ to prevent the terrorists from succeeding in their goals.’ CNS NEWS

Rosa Brooks believes al-Qaida was an “obscure group” turned into a massive threat due to U.S. policies. She’s referred to former President Bush as “our torturer in chief” and a “psychotic who need(s) treatment” while comparing Bush’s arguments for waging a war on terrorism to Adolf Hitler’s use of political propaganda.
In 2007, she labeled al-Qaida as “little more than an obscure group of extremist thugs, well financed and intermittently lethal but relatively limited in their global and regional political pull. On 9/11, they got lucky. … Thanks to U.S. policies, al-Qaida has become the vast global threat the administration imagined it to be in 2001.”
Also that year, she called the surge in Iraq a “feckless plan” that is “too little too late” with “no realistic likelihood that it will lead to an enduring solution in Iraq.” The surge was widely credited with helping to stabilize Iraq.

Steinar Lem is a Norwegian Leftist who recently started off a public debate with his article, posted on the Human Rights Services site (in Norwegian), in which he called on officials to stop non-Western immigration to Norway. ‘Muslim Madonna’ – Singer Deeyah is a Norwegian Muslim woman who was forced to flee Norway because of harassment and death threats from people in the Islamic community there.
Deeyah, the exiled Norwegian singer and activist, was awarded with an ArtVenture Freedom to Create Prize at a ceremony in London on 26 November 2008. More than 900 artists from 86 countries had been nominated. Three artists, Deeyah along with Turkish-Kurdish Ferhat Tunç and Burmese Win Maw, nominated by Freemuse, all made it to the final shortlist of five in their respective categories.
The main prize category was awarded to the Zimbabwean playwright Cont Mhlanga — a fierce opponent of the Mugabe regime. HIJAB debate lifts veil on limit’s of Norway’s tolerance: A Muslim woman’s request to wear a hijab with her police uniform has sparked national controversy.
OSLO – Norway’s biggest headache right now is a religious dilemma over the right of a Muslim woman to wear a hijab as part of her police uniform. As the controversy has escalated, the country has seen the physical collapse of the justice minister, the public burning of a hijab, and a substantial rise in the popularity of Norway’s anti-immigrant opposition party just six months before general elections.
The dilemma began last fall when a Norwegian Muslim woman petitioned for permission to wear her hijab, the traditional head covering for Muslim women, as part of her police uniform. Norway’s justice ministry originally decided in February to allow it, but revoked the permission a few weeks later after loud criticism from the police union, which argued it breached the neutrality of the uniform.
Progress Party leader Siv Jensen spoke out strongly at the party’s national meeting last month against granting special permission for special groups. She pointed specifically to the case of a largely Muslim neighborhood in Malmö, which she claimed had been partly overrun by Islamic law. CS MONITOR

This week, his chief of staff, self-hating Jew, Rahm Emanuel told Jewish leaders whom he met in Washington that if Israel wants America’s help for thwarting Iran’s nuclear program, it must first start evacuating West Bank settlements.
Even if every single settlement were to be removed and Israel lined up with Obama’s quest for a Palestinian state alongside Israel, the US president would not drop Tehran or help Israel strike Iran’s nuclear facilities. He has already ceded Tehran’s uranium enrichment program (and therefore its drive for nuclear arms), and would forcefully oppose any Israeli military action. US defense secretary Robert Gates indicated as much this week when he went to almost absurd lengths to play down the Iranian nuclear threat and Israel’s ability to handle it.
(The London Times reported from Jerusalem Saturday that the Israeli military is preparing itself to launch a massive aerial assault on Iran’s nuclear facilities within days of being given the go-ahead by its new government. Two civil defense drills have been scheduled to prepare the population for missiles that could fall on any part of the country without warning.)

It is also my birthday, one I dislike having to share with Hitler, but one that represents a great nation that grew out of the ashes of the Holocaust, the state of Israel.
A few years ago in a ceremony called “Triumph of the Return,” the Israeli Air Force flew three f-15 jets over the Auschwitz concentration camp in a show of the Jewish people’s continued strength and triumph over past adversities. During the Holocaust (1939-1945) 6 million Jews were murdered at the hands of the Nazis and their collaborators. Millions of Jews and other victims of the Nazis were imprisoned, enslaved and murdered at Auschwitz and her sister camps. And now the new Naziism that goes by the name of Islamism is threatening to do the same thing again.

Latin American dictators help Islamic tyrants set up terrorist networks in their countries in order to stage attacks on America and Israel.
(IsraelNN.com) Just two days after US President Barack Hussein Obama shared a controversial and landmark handshake with Venezuelan dictator Hugo Chavez at the Summit of the Americas, the Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center has released a study analyzing the flowering alliance between the increasingly anti-Western Latin America and the virulently anti-Israel Iran.
According to the study, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is using anti-Western Hugo Chavez as a springboard into several Latin American countries, such as Bolivia, Nicaragua, and Ecuador, where he intends to establish a religious, terrorist, political and economic foothold in South America. Iran has already made major inroads in its relationship with Venezuela and Bolivia, largely based on shared anti-American sentiments.
The Islamic Republic will also leverage petrodollars and Muslim operatives positioned throughout key Latin American countries to implement a radical anti-Western agenda, fight America’s anti-nuclear policy, and to slash international economic sanctions according to the IICC.
Khomeini-inspired Shi’ite Islamic and Iranian revolutionary propaganda is being exported by Iran into non-Muslim and Muslim communities in Latin America, in large part through its terror proxy, Hizbullah, which is raising funds for operation by uniting with South American drug and crime cartels.
The IICC report cites several U.S. intelligence and military officials expressing concern over rising Iranian activity in Latin America, and increasing numbers of converts in the region to Islam.

Ahmadinejad Heckled during Durban Speech, Dozens Walk Out.
(IsraelNN.com) Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad took the podium at the Durban II international conference in Geneva on Monday, only to face a loud heckler and a widespread walkout as he spoke. As the Iranian leader began his speech, a man in the audience rose, wearing a clown wig, and began shouting criticism. The man was removed from the hall by security personnel.
The speech continued as planned for a brief time. However, as Ahmadinejad began to harshly criticize Israel, dozens of people stood and left the hall in protest. In total, representatives of 23 states and organizations left the hall in protest of Ahmadinejad’s speech. Among them were representatives from Jordan, the European Union and France.
United Nations representatives remained in the hall as Ahmadinejad continued, calling Israel a cruel and racist state and accusing Jews of using the Holocaust as an excuse to steal Arab land. ISRAEL NATIONAL NEWS

(NEW YORK, N.Y., 4/17/2009) – The New York chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-NY) today called on American Muslims and all people of conscience to urge their elected representatives to repudiate Rep. Peter King’s (R-NY) bigoted response to a Department of 
Homeland Security (DHS) report released earlier this week about the rising threat of right-wing extremism.
In interview on MSNBC, Rep. King stated in part: “[Napolitano] has never put out a report talking about look out for mosques. Look out for Islamic terrorists in our country. Look out for the fact that very few Muslims come forward to cooperate with the police. If they sent out a report saying that, there would be hell to pay.”
“We urge elected representatives to distance themselves from King’s bigoted remarks,” said CAIR-NY Community Affairs Director Faiza N. Ali. “Sweeping generalizations about Muslims and mosques have no place in serious national security discourse.”

Gee, I wonder how many American jobs will be lost simply because Obama wants to weaken our defense capaiblities…while preventing Israel from doing what it has to do to defend itself?
The current kerfuffle between Israel and the Pentagon reported in this Ha’aretz Articleover the former’s purchase of the F-35, given the alleged escalating costs because of avionics and ECM retrofits by the IAF, is another indication that the Obama Administration is isolating Israel from receipt of front line aircraft to combat Russian supplied AADM radar and Iranian Missiles.
Realize that the IAF F-16′s used to attack the Syrian nuclear bomb factory in September 2007 had external avionics and ECM pods developed in Israel that made the attacking aircraft virtually invisible to Russian supplied target acquisition radar. The IAF took out Syria’s entire radar sysytem during that rapier-like attack - see here.
Given what I have written about the F-22 Raptor-see here, if Congress would lift the ban that would be a second best option for Israel. Together with Japanese and Australian purchases, it would assure continued production of the F-22, which is a Stealth fighter bomber with advanced ECM capabilities.
That second best option would be better than the alternative of retrofitting the aging fleet of F-16is and F-15bs. Congress would be well advised to lift the ban on the sale of the F-22 Raptors to foreign allies like Israel, Japan and Australia. In the case of Israel it would give it a superior multi-role fughter bomber retrofitted with advanced Israeli-developed avionics and ECM capabilities to combat regional missile threats.

That new Afghan Law which infuriated women for endorsing marital rape was misinterpreted according to a leading Islamic cleric. He said, “The new law DOES NOT permit marital rape, but it ALLOWS MEN TO REFUSE TO FEED THEIR WIVES IF THEY DENY THEM SEX.”

A new Afghan law that has drawn Western condemnation for restricting women’s rights does not allow marital rape as its critics claim, but lets men refuse to feed wives who deny them sex, the cleric behind it says. Ayatollah Mohammed Asef Mohseni’s Shi’ite personal status law sparked controversy abroad because of a provision that ‘a wife is obliged to fulfil the sexual desires of her husband’.
This was read by some as an open door to marital rape, and together with clauses restricting women’s freedom of movement denounced as reminiscent of harsh Taliban-era rules.
The law has been criticised by Western leaders with troops fighting in Afghanistan, including U.S. President Barack Obama, who called it ‘abhorrent’. Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai, who signed the law last month, has since put it under review.
