Most Islamic countries deport any foreigner found to have the AIDS virus. But if you’re a HOMOSEXUAL with AIDS, some countries don’t deport you, THEY JUST HANG YOU.
In most countries, the social stigma that accompanies living with HIV/Aids often leaves victims isolated. A number of countries deny residency permits to foreigners carrying the virus and most of the Gulf Arab states automatically deport those found to be HIV positive
Well, I can’t say I find the policy of NOT allowing foreigners with AIDS into one’s country as a bad thing necessarily.

Women, forced to negotiate their most intimate of purchases with male strangers, call the situation appalling and are demanding the system be changed. “The way that underwear is being sold in Saudi Arabia is simply not acceptable to any population living anywhere in the modern world,” says Reem Asaad, a finance lecturer at Dar al-Hikma Women’s College in Jeddah, who is leading a campaign to get women working in lingerie shops rather than men.“This is a sensitive part of women’s bodies,” adds Ms Asaad. “You need to have some discussions regarding size, colour and attractive choices and you definitely don’t want to get into such a discussion with a stranger, let alone a male stranger. I mean this is something I wouldn’t even talk to my friends about.”
To be fair to the male shop workers, many of them find the experience just as embarrassing as their women customers. They are torn, says Ms Asaad, between trying to do their job as salespeople and not stepping on any toes by doing something inappropriate, that could land them in hot water.My friend, Sabra, who lives in Saudi Arabia, confirms this story. She says, re: ‘So if a customer wants to try an item on, she first has to pay for it, and then traipse to a public toilet to see if it fits.’
“That is exactly the way it is. And believe me, I know this from first-hand experience. I wanted a nude strapless bra. Told the salesMAN I wanted x-size. He said, “We do not have that size. This one is the same.” He handed me a completely different size. It was SR500 – about $130. for a bra. Nope. No way. Ever. In order to try it on – I was supposed to pay for it, take it to a ladies room [if there were cameras in the malls' restrooms I wouldn't be at all surprised], try it on, and then return it if it didn’t fit. Never mind. I can wear the white strapless one I already have – one I purchased in the States, one that fits, and one that I paid $19.99 for!
I buy no underwear – anything – here, any more. And no make-up either. Men are manning those counters as well and can tell you that the lip gloss you are wearing isn’t as good as X-brand. Really? How do you know?
Actually – I don’t buy much of anything here. I can shop in comfort on-line, or in Bahrain [for the time being - it is changing rapidly to become the "sister" of Saudi, versus its current status as a red-headed stepchild], or during one of our twice / thrice yearly trips to the States. I would much rather give our HARD-earned money to an economy that deserves it. [Not that the US economy deserves anything right now, in its current state...]

HAVING just re turned from leading a con gressional delegation to the terrorist-detention facility at Guantanamo Bay, I am more convinced than ever that President Obama’s executive order to close Gitmo by next Jan. 22 is wrong and misguided and, if fully implemented, will threaten American security at home and abroad.
It has become an article of faith among the MoveOn.org crowd and the Democratic Party’s liberal base to denounce Guantanamo as a symbol of inhumane treatment and torture. (Indeed, in his address to Congress on Tuesday, the president announced the closing of Guantanamo in the same paragraph in which he said “that is why I can stand here tonight and say . . . the United States of America does not torture.”)
Yet that symbolism doesn’t square with the real Gitmo.
Detainees at Guantanamo are treated far better than most American prisoners in the US jails and prisons I’ve inspected over the years. The unfounded accusations that are so regularly and cavalierly made about Guantanamo are a slander against the brave men and women of our armed forces, who perform their duties at that facility so professionally and under such duress.
If there’s any scandal at Guantanamo, it is that the detainees are treated too well. Consider what I observed:
* Detainees get three full meals a day with a choice of menu.
* Each detainee receives a Koran and a prayer rug.
* Arrows throughout the facility point toward Mecca.
* Detainees receive full medical treatment – including psychiatric services. There is one medical personnel for every two detainees.
* Detainees who comply with regulations are allowed out of their cells for 16 to 20 hours a day and participate in various recreational and educational activities including soccer, language training and art classes.
* Noncompliant detainees – including the hardest of the hard core – are allowed out of their cells for four to seven hours a day. (It was particularly galling to observe a vicious terrorist reclining in the sun like a Palm Beach retiree.)
* Detainees have access to live TV, books and two daily Arab newspapers plus USA Today. (I suppose it would be inhumane to subject them to The New York Times.)
* Detainees are allowed to confer to discuss courtroom strategy.
* Guards within the facility are not armed and are regularly subjected to abuse and harassment, including having human feces and urine thrown at them.
We are at war with Islamic terrorism. Gitmo is a major front in that war. Closing Guantanamo could well mean releasing deadly Islamic terrorists overseas or bringing them to American soil. It would be craven surrender to left-wing groups and uninformed, self-righteous world opinion.

When one of the Gitmo detainees is found to have participated in a terrorists attack on the US, we know who will have American blood on his hands.

This just in…Binyam Mohamed, the British resident released from US detention base Guantanamo Bay in Cuba, has complained to friends that “Britain is too cold.”
The 30-year-old was flown back to the UK on Monday after more than four years in the controversial US military detention centre.
But since arriving back in the country the former Al Qaeda suspect has told supporters he is finding it difficult to adjust to the British climate after four years in Cuba. Temperatures at the detention centre at this time of year are about 26C, compared with 10C in London.
Moazzem Begg, a fellow former Guantanamo detainee, said Mr Mohamed was in “good spirits” but was struggling to cope with the weather, according to the Daily Express newspaper.
Gee, there’s just no pleasing some terrorists.

Canadian Schools Celebrate 'ISRAELI APARTHEID WEEK'

Two Canadian universities came under criticism this week for banning a poster which is seen to be depicting Israelis as child-killers and accusing Israel of apartheid.
The posters from Canada, which were banned from Ottawa University and Carleton University, are advertisements for an annual series of events labeled as “Israeli Apartheid Week,” due to begin on Monday, March 1. The “Israeli Apartheid Week” tradition began in 2005 in Toronto, spreading since to other campuses and cities.
The poster, circulated by pro-Palestinian activists, depicts a gunship with the word “Israel” on it firing a missile at a boy wearing a kaffiyeh and holding a teddy bear. In explaining the ban, Ottawa University said: “All posters approved must promote a campus culture where all members of the community can play a part in a declaration of human rights.”
Activists also circulated letters and emails with phone numbers for the universities’ directors, urging students to call and protest. Pro-Palestinian activist Jessica Carpinone argued that Carleton officials have given “no valid reason for banning the poster other than that it’s a controversial issue.”

The 6ft tall Somalian bowed to the judge, calling him ‘Sir’, before begging for his wife, Fatima, and their teenage son to be allowed to stay in Britain. Fatima, with a black khimar veil covering her hair and shoulders, sat quietly next to her husband.
The judge listened in silence. Perhaps he knew from past experience what was coming next. Abdi went on to reveal that Fatima was not his only wife. Indeed, he was a self-confessed bigamist who had a second, much younger wife and a 13-year-old daughter by her. They both lived nearby.
He was unable to produce wedding certificates or valid official documents to prove where, or when, he had married both women, therefore raising questions over the validity of the unions, under either Somali or British law.
Yet his story, unravelling at an ordinary weekday hearing at Taylor House, an asylum appeals’ centre in North London, is just one example of the growing phenomenon of multiple marriage in Britain.
Bigamy/Polygamy is outlawed in Britain, yet it is clear that officialdom is turning a blind eye to such marriages.
A recent review by four Government departments - the Treasury, the Work and Pensions Department, the Inland Revenue and the Home Office - has concluded that 1,000 men in the United Kingdom are now polygamists, although some say the figure is higher. What is more, the review found, a Muslim man can claim state support of more than £10,000 a year to keep his wives, if the wedding took place in one of those countries where polygamy is commonplace, such as Bangladesh, Pakistan, India, Saudi Arabia and across huge tracts of Africa.
Controversially, a polygamist is also entitled to more generous housing benefits and bigger council houses to reflect the large size of his family. He is also able to claim £1,000 a year in child benefit for each of his growing brood.
But the Taxpayers’ Alliance, a lobby group, has complained: ‘Polygamy is not officially condoned here, so why should British taxpayers have to pay for extra benefits for men to have two, three or four wives?’
Last week, Baroness Warsi, a Tory spokesperson for community cohesion who is British-born of Pakistani parents, waded into the argument, warning that politicians have failed to tackle the problem of polygamy because of ‘cultural sensitivity’. DAILY MAIL

JERUSALEM (JTA) – Gadhafi, president of the African Union, said Tuesday that “foreign forces,” including Israel, are to blame for the genocide in the Sudan region.
”We discovered that some of the main leaders of the Darfur rebels have opened offices in Tel Aviv and hold meetings with the military there to add fuel to the conflict fire,” the Libyan state news agency Jana quoted Gadhafi as saying, Ha’aretz reported.
Gadhafi urged the International Criminal Court to stop proceedings to decide whether to issue a warrant for the arrest of Sudanese President Omar Hassan al-Bashir, who is accused of masterminding the genocide.
“Why do we have to hold President Bashir or the Sudanese government responsible when the Darfur problem was caused by outside parties, and Tel Aviv, for example, is behind the Darfur crisis?” he said. JTA

Three U.S. Senators have today joined a U.S. House Member in requesting additional information from the FBI on the recent cessation of its relationship with the Council for American Islamic Relations (CAIR), which was reported by the IPT on January 30. Moreover, the Senators specifically demand that all federal agencies cut any relationship with CAIR, a policy which I first enunciated on November 24, immediately after the guilty verdicts in the Holy Land Foundation criminal trial. Senators Jon Kyl, Charles Schumer, and Tom Coburn sent this letter today to FBI Director Mueller, asking whether all FBI field offices have cut off ties with CAIR and whether the Bureau knows of any other federal agencies with ties to CAIR.
In my post on November 24, I proposed the issuance of “a statement of policy which mandates that no component of the U.S. government will enter into any contract, grant, or agreement with any person or entity which is an unindicted co-coinspirator in a federal criminal case brought by the Department of Justice.” The Obama Administration has plenty of incentive, in the form of this bipartisan letter, to do that now through a management memorandum issued by the Office of Management and Budget.
But Congress can also take direct action now by adding that policy to the FY 2009 omnibus appropriations bill now winding its way through Congress. Why wait?

I find so many stories like this coming out of the UK that I couldn’t even list them all here. England used to be a world power, now they are behaving like scared little sissies, selling out their people to a culture that means to destroy them. Where is the outrage?
