…but I refuse to do the ‘honorable’ thing and kill her.”
Breaking with Shari’a Law’s demand for an honor killing, one extremely courageous Afghani father is fighting to bring his daughter’s attackers to justice. Four of them already are in prison.
Unfortunately, some of their biggest opponents are the self-hating, liberal, so-called ‘intellectual elite’ JOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOS at American universities.
Druze, Bedouin diplomats, Reda Mansour, Ismail Khaldi defend Gaza op to CNN, Berkley faculty, and Muslim protestors in US.
(The Druze (Arabic: درزي, derzī or durzī, plural دروز, durūz) are a religious community found primarily in Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, and Israel whose traditional religion is said to have begun as an offshoot of Islam, but is unique in its incorporation of Gnostic, neo-Platonic and other philosophies, similar to other followers of IsmailiShi’a Islam. Because of such incorporation, they are sometimes considered as an independent religion, even though the Druze are officially classified as Muslimsand the Nizari leader Aga Khan III recognized them as adherents ofIsmailism.)
WASHINGTON – A Druze ambassador and a Bedouin deputy consul general have positioned themselves at the forefront of Israel’s PR battle in the US.
Reda Mansour, Israel’s consul general to the southeast US, and Ismail Khaldi, San Francisco’s deputy consul general, have made round-the-clock appearances on television and radio interviews, published articles, and stood before Muslim protestors who accused them of traitorous behavior.
Ambassador Reda Mansour
MANSOUR, 43, comes from Usafiya. He made history twice in Israel, by becoming the first minority member to be sent on a diplomatic mission, and the youngest ambassador ever to be sent overseas. At the age of 35 he became Israel’s ambassador to Ecuador
He was serving as consul in Atlanta when the fighting in Gaza broke out. “People joked that I should be given a bed at CNN,” he recounted. “The first three days were very intense. I was at the studio from 6 am until late at night. There was a lot of curiosity and desire to cover it live… Our presence at the studio was a good thing.”
Despite claims that the foreign media in general, and CNN in particular, were biased against Israel, Mansour’s experience was different. “During the first few days of the operation in Gaza we had total domination,” he said. “When we checked with the Foreign Ministry, it turned out that the ratio of appearances was two-thirds Israeli speakers to a third of Palestinian speakers.”
He also expressed satisfaction with Israel’s improvement in the field of public relations. “During this war we did better than in other wars. From the beginning of the war the amount of material that came in from Israel was great, full of texts and videos,” the ambassador said.
Deputy Consul General Ismail Khaldi was somewhat less satisfied with the atmosphere in San Francisco, where numerous anti-IDF protests were taking place.
Khaldi, 36, is a Bedouin from the lower Galilee region and a former shepherd. He has been serving as a diplomat for the past four years, and has formerly been charged with the task of explaining the Gaza pullout to the Arab press.
”San Francisco – and especially Berkley University – is one of the toughest regions for PR,” he said. “We Israelis are perceived here as the ones who dragged the US into a war with Iraq, and those attempting to drag it into an attack on Iran. They see us as racist.”
Khaldi explained that these opinions make his job nearly impossible. “Even the most educated don’t know the history of Israel,” he said. “They feed off of press that is biased against Israel. Yes there was destruction in Gaza, but they don’t understand the reason, and we are always on the defensive.”
But the most explosive reactions had come from Jews, Khaldi said. He recounted a visit to Berkley during which a Jewish professor had refused to shake his hand. “He said it wasn’t personal, but I was a representative of a racist, child-murdering state. There is an odd phenomenon here of Jews who object to Israel and yell at me, how can a non-Jew be on that side,” he said.
Khaldi has also heard deprecating remarks from Muslims who call radio stations that interview him in order to condemn him for siding with Israel. “Sometimes I think it would be easier to be a soldier on the sand dunes of Gaza than here,” he said.
I am posting this on behalf of our Indian friends, all of whom know firsthand about the evil of the Muslim state of Pakistan. Obama has sent in a few laser-guided bombs but will he finish the job, as promised in his campaign?
Don’t hold your breath.
September 11 attack, Mumbai Terror Attack, London tube Bombing, Pakistan’s foot print can be seen in each and every major islamic terror attacks. Pakistan is also a rogue state that has a known history of proliferating weapons of mass destruction to Libya, Iran and North Korea. The only way terror can stop is taking away Pakistan nukes and undermining it by declaring Pakistan a terrorist state.
Guantanamo prisoners prefer life there to being returned to their home countries.
Well no kidding. They get 3 “halal” squares a day plus 2 snacks (most have gained at least 20 lbs) , 3 hours of recreation, Islamic reading material, prayer rooms, and a life of leisure in the tropical sun. Why would they want to go back to the third world?
Fearing militants or even their own governments, some prisoners at Guantanamo Bay from China, Saudi Arabia and other nations do not want to go home, according to transcripts of hearings at the U.S. prison in Cuba.
Uzbekistan, Yemen, Algeria and Syria are also among the countries to which detainees do not want to return. The inmates have told military tribunals that they or their families could be tortured or killed if they are sent back. A man from Syria who was detained along with his father pleaded with the tribunal for help getting them political asylum—in any country that will take them.
A Uighur told a military tribunal that he feared going back to China so much, he considered trying to convince the panel that he was guilty, according to a hearing transcript. ”If I am sent back to China, they will torture me really bad,” said the man, whose name did not appear in the transcript. “They will use dogs. They will pull out my nails.“SOURCE: BREITBART article.php?id=D8G6CJV03&show_article=1
Listen to this whinyass terrorist crying to his interrogator, “You don’t care about me.” Well, Boo Fricken Hoo!
PRISONER 372 from GITMO to YOUTUBE, promising bigger and better acts of terror against the United States.
al-Qaeda considers Obama’s ‘new values and respect’ policy in the (no longer called) War on Terror to be a victory for Islam.
How will Barack Obama wage his coming battle with the al-Qaeda organization, while having announced that he would distance himself from George Bush’s slogans and open-ended, unrestrained war on terror?
Indeed, from the very moment the first black man, and a man of Muslim origin, was elected U.S. president, al-Qaeda leaders such as Ayman al-Zawahiri announced that they did not see anything in him that would set him apart, or “intercede in his favor”, from the white presidents who preceded him. Zawahiri even described him as the “White House slave”. Moreover, al-Qaeda leaders still call on “mujahideen all over the world” to launch attacks inside Western countries, among them the United States and Britain, as did one of their leaders, Abu Yahya al-Libi, two days ago.
The aim of such measures as shutting down the Guantanamo Bay detention camp and other detention centers abroad, prohibiting torture during interrogation, and abiding by the texts of the Geneva Convention concerning the treatment of prisoners, as Obama said, is to assert that “there is no contradiction between respecting American values and preserving our national security”. In his opinion, it is wrong for America to give the impression, as Bush did, that it must give up the ideals that characterize it and the respect it should enjoy around the world in order to win the war on terror.
Throughout his electoral campaign, and even after winning the presidency, Obama repeated on more than one occasion that the fight against al-Qaeda would be at the top of his administration’s list of priorities. In fact, in a speech he gave in Washington in August 2007, he stated that if the U.S. were to obtain certified information about the location of al-Qaeda leaders in the mountainous border region between Pakistan and Afghanistan, it should launch an attack against them even without the consent of the government in Islamabad. At the time, both his rivals John McCain and Hillary Clinton criticized such a stance, which embarrasses Pakistan and makes it hesitate to support U.S. measures.
The main stake in the coming battle between Obama and the al-Qaeda organization will lie in his ability to manage such a battle, against an organization not known for respecting values, without resorting to the drastic means adopted by Bush. Through such means, the previous administration obtained confessions and information, and took security measures that helped it control its borders, as well as the borders and security of its allies. In fact, Bush considered that resorting to the methods for which he was criticized, such as the detention of around 250 people in Guantanamo, is what has saved the United States from a greater security threat. Indeed, there are no guarantees of what the consequences would be if they are released or returned to their countries, especially that the ideological stances taken by most of them have not changed despite their arrest. The U.S. Department of Defense admits that more than sixty of the detainees who have been released retuned to join the ranks of al-Qaeda.
Waging the battle against al-Qaeda while abiding by American values and ideals would be a cause for relief rather than concern for the organization. Indeed, its leaders consider that the new rules for this confrontation represent a defeat for the US administration and a victory for them. Similar was Ayman al-Zawahiri’s “analysis” of Obama’s decision to withdraw from the war in Iraq, as he considered such a decision to be an “acknowledgement of America’s defeat there”. al-Qaeda leaders likely consider shutting down Guantanamo and prohibiting torture to also be “American defeats”.The truth of the matter is that it is difficult to wage a battle of values and ideals against organizations and groups that have no respect for such values. In such a battle, committing to morals and principles seems extremely difficult, and may even clear a path for terrorist organizations to breach the security barrier which the United States has surrounded itself with.Indeed, there are fears that the first fissure in this barrier might be the difficult balance between security and the respect of values.
In other words, we might wake up one day and discover that the only thing suitable for al-Qaeda and Osama Bin Laden would have been a confrontation with the likes of George Bush in the White House!
Kind of like asking the fox to guard the hen house: Obama asks Saudi help to stop weapons smuggling into Gaza Strip.
U.S. President Barack Obama on Friday asked Saudi King Abdullah for support in halting weapons smuggling into Gaza Strip and hailed the importance of U.S.-Saudi ties in his first talks with the Arab ruler since becoming president, the White House said.
Obama spoke to Abdullah during a series of phone calls with foreign leaders, including British Prime Minister Gordon Brown and Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper, the White House said in a statement, cited by Reuters. The call to Abdullah coincided with the publication of an article by Prince Turki al-Faisal, a former Saudi intelligence chief and ambassador to the United States, warning Obama Washington was putting Saudi ties at risk with its stance on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
In an article on the Financial Times website, Turki said former President George W. Bush had left a “sickening legacy” in the Middle East. “If the U.S. wants to continue playing a leadership role in the Middle East and keep its strategic alliances intact — especially its ‘special relationship’ with Saudi Arabia — it will have to drastically revise its policies vis-a-vis Israel and Palestine,” Turki wrote.

British Muslims have been blasted for failing to tackle vile hate preachers by a leading Islamic commentator, Dilwar Hussain, who says moderate Muslims need to do more to combat the rise of terrorism.
HAH! That would assume there is such a thing as “moderate” Muslims.
Terrorist supporter Abu Hamza
The head of the policy research centre at the Islamic Foundation said Muslims have allowed extremism to breed in British cities. And he claimed hate preachers like Abu Hamza were not being challenged.
Hamza, 50, was jailed for six years in 2004 for soliciting murder and inciting racial hatred and could be extradited to face charges in the US for allegedly setting up an al-Qaida training camp. Other preachers include banned cleric Omar Bakri, 50, who fled to Lebanon, and London extremist Anjem Choudary, 41.
Mr Hussain attacked the “hands-off” attitude of moderate Muslims in a report for the Institute for Public Policy Research (IPPR). He said: “Much could be said about Britain’s foreign policy mistakes in stoking injustice, leading to anger and frustration. But to blame only such foreign affairs for terrorism is not nearly enough.
“Muslims did not challenge strongly enough the preachers of hate and the peddlers of simplistic, yet nihilistic, solutions that were able to tap into that anger and frustration.
“Nor did they create adequate religious institutions or leadership that could connect with young people and educate them in an idiom they would understand, something that could have protected them when challenged by extremists’ discourse.”
He wants to see a liberal brand of Islam tailored to British conditions.
“HOPE YOU ALL GET BOMBED.” Hate preacher Sheikh Omar Bakri Mohammed has promised 2009 will be a year of “hellfire” for Brits in a sick New Year message.
ABOVE: Sheikh Omar Bakri Mohammed, "We Muslims have no choice but to take the Shari'a and implement it."
Warped Bakri also declared it his mission to impose Islamic sharia law across the UK over the next 12 months.
He made the address to fellow fanatics in a poisonous web sermon from his Lebanon bolt-hole. The cleric’s latest speech came amid warnings of a new 9/11 terror strike in the US.
Threats on an al-Qaida website suggest a dummy run has already taken place for an atrocity. Bakri upped the terror fears on a website run by hate preacher pal Anjem Choudary, 41.
He said: “The sharia of Islam is a divine way of life. “Those who reject the sharia will be subject to hellfire.” The dad of six also targeted Jews, ranting they should submit to Islamic law.
And he sent a thinly-veiled message for fanatics to rise against the West. He added: “We have to force the man-made systems around the world to submit. And make the whole galaxy subservient to mighty Allah if we can.”
Bakri, 50, also singles out Britain for not being ruled by Islamic decrees. He said: “It is your duty to expose the man-made system where you live.
A security source said last night: “This is meant as a coded threat to the West. “It gives the green light to attack any country not following his warped views.”
A LEADING Islamic terrorist has warned that Britain is now the Number 1 target for horror attacks.
Evil al-Qaida chief Abu Yahya al-Libi called on all Muslims to attack the UK, which he blames for the recent Palestinian deaths in the Gaza Strip.
The sick extremist, whose rant appeared on an Islamic website, singled out Britain because we signed the 1917 Balfour Declaration, which eventually led to the creation of Israel.
He said: “It’s high time this criminal country – I mean Britain – paid the price of its historic crime that we have not and will never forget. “There is no child who dies in Palestine without this being the outcome of the country that handed Palestine to the Jews. That is Britain.”
The Libyan hate preacher, whose group was responsible for 52 deaths in the 7/7 attacks on Britain in 2005, said violence is the only way to solve problems in Gaza.
During his 31-minute rant, which is thought to have been filmed in either Pakistan or Afghanistan, he also dismissed peace protesters in Britain who spoke out over Israel’s attacks. He said: “We are not fooled by the policies of courtesy. A wolf is a wolf – even dressed as lamb.
“Make them taste the bitterness of war and the tragedies of homelessness and the misery of horror. They should not be secure while our people are scared.
“This can only be achieved by striking against Jews and the countries that support them everywhere – especially against their economic interests, political institutions and military strongholds.
In this interview, which aired on Al-Jazeera’s Arabic channel, Jordanian University Lecturer Ibrahim ‘Alloush suggests sending suicide-bombers armed with “Small Nuclear Bombs” to Israel.
Dr. Ibrahim ‘Alloush: Whoever managed to get a martyrdom-seeker into Dimona armed with conventional explosives should consider how to get martyrdom-seekers into Dimona and elsewhere armed with non-conventional explosives and perhaps even small nuclear bombs. We should think in this direction.
And this was in May, before the Gaza War. Say, doesn’t Israel have a “peace treaty’ with Jordan?
Inhabitants of Gaza say, “HAMAS militants prevented us from leaving our houses and they fired from there.”
Hamas: Lies, Secrets, Torture, Murder, and Intimidation by Baron Bodissey
Gaza civilians to Hamas fighters: “Go away, go away from here! Do you want the Israelis to kill us all? Do you want to see to our children die under the bombs?” “Take away your arms and missiles!”
These were the calls by many of the inhabitants of the Gaza strip to the militants of Hamas and their allies of the Muslim Jihad. The bravest were organized and had blocked the access doors to their courtyards, nailed planks over the entrances to the buildings, hurriedly blocked staircases up to high flat roofs. But by and large the guerrillas listened to nobody.
Hamas fighters to Gaza civilians:“Traitors, collaborators of Israel. spies of Fatah, cowards.” “The soldiers of the holy war will punish to you. And in any case you will all die, like us. Fighting the Zionist Jews we are all destined for paradise, aren’t you content to die together?”
And here’s what you get if you don’t cooperate with Hamas.
And thus, shouting furiously, Hamas pulled down doors and windows, hid in high places, in the gardens, used the ambulances, barricaded themselves near hospitals, schools, UN buildings.
In extreme cases they (Hamas) fired at those who tried to block their way in order to save their families, or beat them savagely. “The Hamas militiawanted the Israelis to fire on our houses in order to then accuse them of war crimes,” says Abu Issa, 42 years old, an inhabitant of the Tel Awa area.
Hamas forcing children to act as human shields.
The residents are often threatened by Hamas. “It is nothing new that in the Middle East among Arabic societies the cultural tradition of human rights is missing. It happened under the regime of Arafat that the press was persecuted and censured. Under Hamas it is worse,” says Eyad Sarraj, a famous psychiatrist of Gaza City. And there is another fact emerging more and more obvious when visiting clinics, hospitals and the families of the victims of the Israeli fire.In truth their numbers appear very much lower than the nearly 1,300 dead men and 5.000 wounded, reported by Hamas and repeated by officials of the UN and the local Red Cross.
“The dead men could be not more than 500 or 600. Generally boys between the ages of 17 and 23 recruited into the ranks of Hamas who have literally sent them to the slaughter,”a doctor in Shifah hospital told us, adding that he did not want to be quoted because of the risk to his life.
This data is also confirmed by local journalists: “We have already informed the leadership of Hamas. Why do they insist in swelling the figures of the victims? It is also strange, among other things, that the Non-Governmental Organizations, even the western ones, report these numbers without verification. In the end the truth could surface. It could be like Jenin in 2002. Initially the figure was 1.500 dead. Then the number was reduced to 54, of which at least 45 guerillas fallen during fighting.”
It is enough to visit some hospitals in order to understand that the figures do not tally. Many beds are free in the European Hospital of Rafah, which would have been the one most involved with the victims of the “war of the Israeli tunnels”. The same for the “Nasser” Hospital of Khan Yunis. Only 5 beds out of 150 at the private Hospital Al-Amal are occupied.
As told by Magah al Rachmah, 25 years old, a local inhabitant who lives within a few tens of meters from the four big buildings of the sanitary complex, now seriously damaged: “The Hamas men took shelter above all in the building that accommodates the administrative offices of Al Quds. They sequestered the ambulances and forced ambulance men and nurses to remove their uniforms with the symbols of the paramedics, to disguise themselves and to escape the Israeli sharpshooters.”
Also, the Shifah, the largest hospital in the city, is very far from being full. It seems its basements were densely occupied however. “Hamas had hidden the emergency cells and the interrogation rooms for Fatah prisoners and the Front of the secular Left.
There has been a war within a war with Fatah and Hamas. The local humanitarian organizations tell of “tens of executions, cases of torture, kidnapping in last the three weeks” perpetrated by Hamas.
If Muslims have a problem with the First Amendment, they should go back to the Hell holes they left to come to the land of freedom.
“I wouldn’t want to create the impression that I wouldn’t like the government of the United States to be Islamic sometime in the future…But I’m not going to do anything violent to promote that. I’m going to do it through education.” - Ibrahim HooperCAIR Spokesman.
“Those who stay in America should be open to society without melting, keeping Mosques open so anyone can come and learn about Islam. If you choose to live here, you have a responsibility to deliver the message of Islam … Islam isn’t in America to be equal to any other faiths, but to become dominant. The Koran, the Muslim book of scripture, should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on Earth.” – Omar AhmadCo-founder of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR)
Looks like B. Hussein Obama is releasing the GITMO terrorists just in time.
Joe Biden said Obama will be tested by our enemies within the first 6 months. Apparently the “test” will be a nuclear attack on 7 US cities simultaneously, materials for which have been smuggled into the US via Mexico.
Seasoned investigative reporter and former FBI consultant Paul Williams reveals the alarming potential for nuclear terrorism on U.S. soil and the sinister connections among organized crime, illegal immigrants, and al-Qaeda.
Recently, FBI Director Robert Mueller confirmed Williams’ main claim. Mueller said al-Qaeda’s paramount goal is clear: to detonate a nuclear device that would kill hundreds of thousands of Americans.
Mueller told NewsMax that at times, the threat feels so real he lies awake at night thinking about the prospect.
Williams maintains that al-Qaeda is not content on blowing up one nuclear device or even simply a “dirty” nuke — but wants to explode real nuclear devices in seven U.S. cities simultaneously.
Williams says these cities are New York, Washington, D.C., Las Vegas, Miami, Boston, Houston, and Los Angeles. Mueller seems to confirm this claim of multiple attacks, saying both New York and Washington would be likely targets.
Pakistani journalist who has met with bin Laden and al-Qaeda leaders several times confirms the plan, saying that bin Laden has issued the requisite 3 warnings, so they are good to go.
